"I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days at work. It's a pity that there is no bath in the room, but if you go to the large communal bath a little late, it feels like a charter. If you go early, there are people on a day trip. It included breakfast, but I think you will be satisfied if you are not very particular about food. It was only a side dish for rice."

"Every summer, many schools use this hotel for tennis and other training camps, so you need to make reservations early if you wish to stay overnight. Shirako is one of the many tennis courts in Kujukurihama, so this hotel may be just right for training camps. The food is delicious and the sea is nearby, so it's a fairly popular hotel, especially the open-air bath on the roof. At night, you can see beautiful stars, and the low price of the accommodation may be another reason for its popularity. The hotel staff were also very friendly."

"It was a wonderful inn! The amenities were plentiful, and the staff were very kind! It was great that we could use the private hot spring smoothly (*^^*) My skin became so smooth! The room was clean and fantastic! There were also places to eat nearby, so we had no problems at all! I would love to stay there again♪"

"I stayed to support the tennis tournament. It was good to be able to move while leaving the car because it was close to the court. I think there were many students who participated in the tournament staying at the hotel, but I didn't feel any noise. The facility was like an old-fashioned inn."

Shirako New Seaside Hotel ★★★
"I went to Kusatsu last week but missed my chance to soak in the hot springs, so I considered hot springs near the Tokyo metropolitan area and booked a stay so I could stay there after work on the weekend. Shirako is about an hour's drive from Chiba Station, and there's a convenience store in front of the hotel. The building's exterior was quite worn, to the point that I wondered if it would even be open, but the interior was incredibly clean. Despite its old appearance, the elevator was new, and the tatami mats in the rooms with bathrooms and toilets were new. Even though the facilities were dated, disinfectant was provided in every area, and the facility was impeccably clean. Although the plan called for guests to lay out their own futon, it was stored in a closet for easy access, even for me, who hadn't done it in decades. Shirako Town itself seems to be home to many training camps, and the hotel's website warns that the hotel can get quite busy during peak seasons. However, the hotel was empty on the weekend, allowing me to relax in the large public bath, and I slept comfortably and quietly at night. The hot spring water, in particular, was unique in quality, leaving my skin feeling silky smooth. It felt like hot water mixed with Isodine, a gargle, and salt. The private open-air bath on the rooftop was also great. The only disappointment was that although Wi-Fi was available, it wasn't advertised on the website. I'd like to return during the off-season so that it doesn't overlap with club or summer training camps."
