"Free upgrade from a double room to a family room (consists of a separate double room, a single room and one toilet / shower) in a big room. Free onsite parking. Dinner deal was very great, 2 mains for £15, and big portions! Free welcoming hot drink was available too. The shower water is hot, yet the water pressure is weak (perhaps it is a "water-saving" style?) Hot items of breakfast buffet was great, esp. the mushrooms were very big, with free refill filter coffee and tea. It'd be good if there are yogurt and more varieties of bread. Just 5 minutes drive to town centre / train station."

"Very dark rooms, old and tired rooms. It advertises having a bar but there is not one.. surely false advertising! No breakfast, tv,s in rooms were not working. Unclean and unkempt hotel. Would not stay there again! No hot water in the morning!!!!"

"Breakfast was really good. When we first arrived we had to check in ourselves. Normally this is ok but there were no key cards. So we had to wait for a member of staff who had gone to sort out someone’s air conditioning. 15 mins later a staff member arrived and gave us our key cards.  I don’t like having to pay for parking when you book a hotel. It should be free of charge but it cost £8. Room was clean and tidy and the bar area but the lobby/reception area could do with a re vamp."

"The worst hotel/apartment experience of my life. This was booked over the phone with me explaining the needs of my elderly disabled parents. They were more than accommodating on the phone. We arrived at 7.30 pm after an awful 5 hour journey. As I approached the main door there was a security code to get in which hadn't been shared with me. I called and was given the code. A sign said reception manned until 8 pm. Nobody was there. I called back and he sent someone with keys to the room. She was the rudest young lady I had encountered. Our room number was 9. There was no sign to say where to find out room. I called back and the rude woman returned who couldn't find our room either. She eventually returned to show us we had to walk down a dark dirty alley with open drains. To an unsafe filthy area behind the hotel. When we eventually got to the room there were concrete steps no hand rail. My father couldn't have made it up them. I had a look in and there was 1 double bed and 1 single bed. We couldn't have all stayed there. I asked for the manager. Someone appeared who said he wasn't the manager but is looking after the place. He then took me to another hotel and expected the 2 couple to share a room one of which were bunk beds. I demanded my money back immediately. The second hotel was dirtier than the 1st. I was in tears my dad was struggling and I thought we had no where to go. Luckily 2 doors away is a lovely hotel called the Savoy. Please avoid this place or you trip will be ruined"

"Fab location from train station/shops/park/beach Apartment is roomy (booked 2 bedroom - 1 double bed and 2nd bedroom 1 single bed). The proprietor was extremely helpful as its keypad opening on rooms and push button key code to enter building. There is no lift but he took my case up to my room for me. Only little negative is there is no toaster and no dustpan and brush to clean up (especially if you have spent time at the beach and/or you have children/grandchildten) I would definitely recommend and will definitely stop here again."
