"Great hotel with fantastic large rooftop with more than enough sun beds. Pool was very pleasant to swim in - nice temperature. Also has a great pool bar where you can eat in the evening and look over Malta. The chef was top as the Quinoa salad was so beautifully presented and so tasty.,I thought it was the best meal in a long time. Room spacious with balcony. Nice bar downstairs. Go!"

"After the initial problem with allocating a wrong room, it was solved and everything was lovely. Enjoyed the views and spaciousness. One day a foul smell appeared and we had to open the balcony door to air it. After a couple of hours it disappeared, not sure what it was. So all in all a very pleasant stay."

"A hidden gem in Sliema! Behind the discreet entrance door of the residence lies a kingdom of incredibly luxurious apartments, the likes of which we've never seen in Malta! A huge apartment with incredible views: Valletta on one side and the open sea on the other. A living room combined with a kitchen, two large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a guest toilet, and a storage room. A balcony with a dining area and a sun lounger for two. The view from the balcony is breathtaking; you can spend hours watching the boats and ferries scurrying in the harbor. Our rating: 10/10."

"It's about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport. I arrived around 11:30 AM and left my luggage before check-in (2 PM) and went out for lunch. The ocean is right around the corner! When I returned at 2 PM, my luggage was safely stored. After checking in, I was assigned a room on the first floor, right in front of the door. I was worried about noise because it was right on the road, right in front of the door. But it was quieter than I expected. Other guests can be a little noisy when they come in, but most of them are polite during bedtime! The room was clean, and there was no need to worry about bed bugs. The floor wasn't carpeted, so there wasn't much dust. Breakfast, which started at 8:30 AM, was served on the sun-drenched terrace, just like the name "The Maltese Sun." It even made me feel healthier. It's a buffet, and the staff will bring out eggs, ham, cheese, etc. according to your request. ^^ Thank you to the staff. 😉 Even with my broken English, they were great at leading the conversation and explaining things. A wonderful stay .We will always return here as its an excellent value, well equipped , spacious and clean self catering base in the best location for enjoying Sliema and maltese life. The staff are always ready to fix any faults. We really enjoy the quiet rooms with kitchenette,eating area, comfortable beds,football on the TV and hot showers . Yes the rooms aren't luxurious but the price reflects this and they are perfect for our needs. Research avoids disappointment ."

The Howard Hotel

"Very satisfied with the room. It’s rare that Europe also gave us mineral water. However, when I asked the front desk to extend my stay for another night, there was no room type available, so I could only book a standard room. After I paid, I was told that there were no standard rooms available, only single rooms, and the toilet and room were separate. It’s too abstract. I have to lock the door twice when going to the toilet. On the day of extending my stay, they changed several front desk staff and said that I didn't pay, but in fact they didn't register it properly. It’s such a makeshift team. There is nothing else, and it is close to the bus stop. The free breakfast was nice!"

"Very Good! But check in needs to be done at Mr. Todd which is just a few minutes down the same road. But the shower have inconsistent temperature. Apart from taht everything is really good!"
