Apart Hotel Garni Wieser
"My mate Paul gale booked this hotel if you can call it that for our lads ski trip The room was like sleeping in an industrial oven on a slab of concrete with a sock filled with one piece of cotton wool as a pillow Breakfast consists of one boiled egg, a bruised apple and if your lucky you can bag one of the 2 pastry’s on offer Once your back from your days skiing you won’t find a bar open or be able to make a drink in your room so you have to walk a small marathon to the town to get something of you want to save some time there a shortcut cross country off road track you can walk down so bring your hiking boots In short most prisons have better breakfast options and better pillows but my mate wanted to save 10 euro so well done cheers Paul"
Hotel Bergland
"Bergland Design and Wellness Hotel Sölden We have just enjoyed a 7 night stay at this incredible hotel. What a gem it is! I cannot fault the hotel and their attention to detail is exceptional. We travelled as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) and we had 2 of the deluxe comfort rooms, side by side. The rooms were roomy and so very comfortable, including rocking chairs and terraces. The bathroom included a shower and seperate bathtub. The room also included bathrobes and slippers to use in the spa (more on that later). We made excellent use of the sport shop in the basement and hired our ski equipment for our week long stay. Each morning we would pop down and pick up the gear and then head to the slopes which were only minutes away. Our room package included the Half-Board option where breakfast and dinner are included. We had the same table every time, which was set especially for us each day. There was never any rush for us to vacate the table and as a result we enjoyed leisurely meals, enjoying the delicious Tyrolean produce each day. The service in the restaurant was impeccable and it is clear that the staff are very special and are cared for by the management. Each of them truly seems to enjoy being part of the Bergland family. A special mention must go to Nikolette, our waitress for most meals. She was wonderful. The sky spa in the hotel is amazing, and after skiing most mornings we enjoyed the sauna and spa time in the afternoons. It includes a Finnish sauna, a steam room and a bio-Sauna. My husband and I also enjoyed a special spa package of a body scrub, mask and massage. It was divine!!! We were especially blessed to spend new years at the hotel and had a wonderful New Year’s Eve gala dinner with live music and a real party atmosphere. A lovely evening hosted by Siggi the hotel owner also made us feel like a part of the Bergland family. I honestly could not fault the hotel for anything and am looking forward to one day visiting again. The town of Sölden is just lovely and the snow and skiing conditions are exceptional. I am so glad we found this place, I cannot recommend it more highly."
Pension Neururer
"Very warm, the dormitory staff are also very friendly, it is a very good accommodation choice for snow friends who ski in Solden! Travel is also very convenient!"
Grünwald Resort Sölden
"Hotel location is good, on the hillside, suitable for self-driving. There is a hot spring pool, you can soak in the hot springs on snowy days. The room is soundproofed and large, with tableware and you can cook by yourself."
Hotel Sportpension Carinthia
"Spent a joyous 6 nights here recently. Our room was thankfully ready early and we were greeted at reception and given some great information and advice about both the Hotel and Sölden itself. Our room was lovely, spotless and had a great balcony overlooking the slopes. The walk to a Gondola is easy and there plenty of ski rental places en-route. They have ski/board storage and spa facilities ( which we didn't use) The walk to town and ski buses is also close by. The breakfast is wonderful and plentiful.... I'd highly recommend staying here especially as the staff were really kind and helpful. Thank you."
Hotel Tyrolerhof
"As a family of six we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tyrolerhof over the New Year holiday. We stayed in the basic entry level rooms which were very comfortable. Plenty of storage space and well laid out. We were apprehensive about the buffet dinner arrangement but it worked well and the food was very good. The vegetarian options improved as the week went on. All the staff are very friendly and our waitress Tunde was amazing, remembering our preferred beverages and that we liked two carafes of water at dinner time. There is a charge for tap water which is common in Austria but the water is like nectar! We were very impressed by the service and product offered by Grizzly Sports. Laurin (aka Mr Grizzly) was very thorough in his recommendation of boots and skis for all our party. We all felt the equipment was the best we have ever rented at a ski resort. Some of our party had lessons with Laurin (via his ski school) and he was very patient and explained in an understandable fashion the technique of skiing. We all felt that we had improved following our lessons. If we were to return to Solden, we would have no hesitation in returning to Hotel Tyrolerhof. Great spa too!"
Sportalm
"The welcome was very warm, everything was explained and then the room was just superb. It really was great value as the standards were very good and beat many more expensive hotels hands down ... an example of how to run a hotel, bravo!"
Hotel Alpina Sölden - Adults Only
"A great hotel in a great location. The booking and communication between the hotel and myself was very good and the hotel app was very informative and helpful . Check in and check out was prompt. The bar and restaurant was a beautiful setting and a great choice offered. The ski facilities in the basement and shuttle service were a great feature."
Hotel Garni Schönblick
"A very warm welcome, excellent service, a very pleasant room, a modern and well-equipped building, a lovely breakfast, in a very quiet part of the village yet not far from the centre, I recommend this hotel in Sölden!"
