Hotel Alpina Sölden - Adults Only ★★★★
"We have chosen this very good hotel because we stayed here before and were very satisfied then. The hotel still provides good quality and friendly service. It has been nicely renovated since our last stay. Modern and comfortable room. The food was delicious and the waiters were very friendly and helpful. It's located a little walk (some 8 minutes) from the gondola. With ski boots the few, rather steep meters to the main road and busstation can be a bit hazardous. There is a shuttle to the gondola though. Or you can hire a ski locker at the gondola at a 50% discount. One of the main reasons we came back to this hotel was the great wellness. Extensive facilities of very high quality and a cozy zen atmosphere. Here, unfortunately I have a negative remark. Although the sauna regulations (which are hanging in the wellness area) state that the use of electronic devices is prohibited (as in every wellness!), more than half of the guests were using their phones or tablets (inclusive ringing phones). For me it felt very uncomfortable, for obvious reasons (privacy, peace and quiet). When I approached some people, they just didn't care and kept using them. I spoke to the reception about this and they just said that they couldn't do much about it. So I asked for a compensation for the fact that I couldn't go to the wellness anymore because I was uncomfortable with it. Never seen or heard about it anymore during our stay and at check-out. On this point I think the service is very unprofessional . I hope that they take care of this issue. Otherwise, we unfortunately will never return to this very good hotel."
Hotel Bergland ★★★★★
"First class welcome from the reception team. The reception area is very spacious and welcoming. The furniture in reception however is not placed correctly. The bar if fully stocked with everything you would want. The bar furniture, like reception is not placed correctly, , it can also be said for the furniture in the lounge next to the bar. Not placed correctly, you should not have to climb through seated groups to get to an empty table. The rooms are finished to a fantastic standard. A mixture of traditional and modern. I did report two room faults on the evening of my arrival and they were not fixed prior to me leaving one week later. First class welcome from the dining room staff. A really well appointed dining room. There were a few issues with the food. The selection at the buffet was fantastic however the quality of some of the dishes on the buffet were poor. There seemed to be different menus for different guests and that was based on seeing food being delivered to tables that was never offered at my table. Now, the quality of food has been highlighted by previous guests and conveniently brushed over , they do not always get the food correct. They are trying to serve portions that you would expect to find in fine dinning restaurants but the quality of food is far from fine dining. I would ask the chef to taste the food before it leaves the dining room and that goes for the buffet, taste the food before it goes on the buffet. The quality of prepared food is either fantastic or inedible. During my stay, the plates from my table were either returned cleared of everything or returned full. The spa, fantastic, clean warm and comfortable, actually, outstanding. The facilities are outstanding. Look, this is a great spot in a great location with great people working in this hotel so if you stay then you will have a great time, sort the quality of the prepared food out then this will become a fantastic spot. Just as an aside, as i said, some people were eating food our table wasn’t offered so maybe there is a tiered menu offering and if there is then this has to be made clear to all the guests."
Apart Hotel Garni Wieser ★★★
"My mate Paul gale booked this hotel if you can call it that for our lads ski trip The room was like sleeping in an industrial oven on a slab of concrete with a sock filled with one piece of cotton wool as a pillow Breakfast consists of one boiled egg, a bruised apple and if your lucky you can bag one of the 2 pastry’s on offer Once your back from your days skiing you won’t find a bar open or be able to make a drink in your room so you have to walk a small marathon to the town to get something of you want to save some time there a shortcut cross country off road track you can walk down so bring your hiking boots In short most prisons have better breakfast options and better pillows but my mate wanted to save 10 euro so well done cheers Paul"
Pension Neururer ★★★
"The hotel is located a little away from the centre, which is still 15 minutes walking away Thanks"
Grünwald Resort Sölden ★★★★
"Hotel location is good, on the hillside, suitable for self-driving. There is a hot spring pool, you can soak in the hot springs on snowy days. The room is soundproofed and large, with tableware and you can cook by yourself."
Hotel Garni Schönblick ★★★
"Great hotel, quietly located, very clean and cozy. The room, bathroom, and bed were comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious and extensive, including fried eggs, warm rolls, and fresh fruit. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The offered summer card was also a bonus, allowing us free use of the lifts and public transport. We had a wonderful holiday at Hotel Schonblick in Solden."
Sportalm ★★★
"Nice accomodation, friendly staff and briliant location."
Apartment Zwieselstein Near Ski Slopes ★★★
Hotel Sportpension Carinthia ★★★
"Spent a joyous 6 nights here recently. Our room was thankfully ready early and we were greeted at reception and given some great information and advice about both the Hotel and Sölden itself. Our room was lovely, spotless and had a great balcony overlooking the slopes. The walk to a Gondola is easy and there plenty of ski rental places en-route. They have ski/board storage and spa facilities ( which we didn't use) The walk to town and ski buses is also close by. The breakfast is wonderful and plentiful.... I'd highly recommend staying here especially as the staff were really kind and helpful. Thank you."
