"Was there for a few days, was nice in general, looks like a new property they were still working on a few things but I would be happy to come back. Was pretty close to everything they also provided me with a rental car which I appreciated also for a probably way better day I could have got my self! Good people there!"

"Staff was very nice. However, while in the property you will not be able to nap in the middle of the day if that is your thing, it is way to loud since right in front of your window is the main street and lots of motorcycles pass by along with cars with hooked up loud music. if you are going with family you are better off staying in Puerto Plata or Cabarete. Sosua is really a town for men if you know what i mean. In this hotel you will be woken up by noise and talking people by usually 6-7 am. This happens any day/night while i stayed here. This hotel is about 20 mins from Cabarete and 30 from Puerto Plata. For a good night out of dancing i recommend visiting “Ojos” restaurant/club on the water which is located in Cabarete. In Sosua we checked out Santa Fe, it was very nice with good music and multiple pools and great staff and they also had cabanas."

"Our stay at The Ocean Club was the perfect ending to our Dominican Republic trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink that immediately set the tone for the exceptional hospitality we would experience throughout our stay. The property is absolutely stunning. Everything feels luxurious, from the beautifully designed grounds to the breathtaking ocean views. Our room overlooked the water, and watching the sunset from our balcony each evening was simply mesmerizing. The service was truly world-class. We had a dedicated concierge who made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of, whether it was arranging laundry service, coordinating food delivery, or answering any request we had. The staff consistently went above and beyond. The bar serves exquisite handcrafted cocktails, and the wine cellar is a wonderful place to unwind. We enjoyed relaxing there while watching the FIFA matches, which made for a perfect evening. After spending hours driving across the island before arriving, I wasn't feeling my best. The staff's kindness made a lasting impression—they thoughtfully brought me a healing watermelon soup along with fresh lemon juice, a gesture I'll never forget. If you're looking for peace, privacy, and a true luxury experience, this is the place. It is definitely on the expensive side, but the impeccable service, tranquil atmosphere, and unforgettable views make it worth every penny. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already looking forward to returning."

"We had a wonderful time at this resort! It was me,my husband, our adult daughter and our 9 year old son. Everyone loved it and we are already planning our next trip! I was a little disappointed that there weren't any loungers on the beach,but when we asked at the front they said we could take a few down,as long as we brought them back. We did that and it was awesome, we especially enjoyed the quiet beach to the right,but they both were nice. I've stayed at a few all inclusive resorts and this was the best food we've eaten. It's definitely quality over quantity, there's not a huge variety, but everything was delicious! There were just a few things that could have made our stay better, but nothing that would prevent us coming back. A drink menu at the bar would be nice,especially for travelers like me that mostly drink on vacation. I never know what to order and it's helpful if the bartender can recommend something. We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn't working, so if you have mobility issues,its probably best to request a ground floor room. We definitely got our exercise while we were there :) Also, our room was set up a little oddly. The main area, by table and chairs had the big bed in it and the day bed was in the room that had a door. It definitely was not a big deal. The room was very spacious and clean. The best part was the staff!! Everyone was amazing, from housekeeping (who layed out my son's plushies every morning--very cute) , the guys at reception (where you also get towels) , the bartenders and everyone in the restaurant!! We didn't encounter anyone even slightly grumpy,they were all smiles all.the time! Very friendly, helpful and worked so hard every day! They definitely made our vacation special, we can't wait to come back! The trio was also very affordable, a great value for your money."
