"What can I say...a 3 star hotel???? 1/ The cleanliness clearly leaves something to be desired...towels that are dated, one of the rooms smelled of sewage, the bed is always very badly made, you might as well do it yourself..., our baseboards are fixed with a screw and I'll skip the decorating... 2/ The boss laughs when a woman falls heavily from a broken deckchair and doesn't come to her aid... 3/One day there was music blasting under the covered porch...and the boss was there...an occupant had to intervene! A disgrace! 4/If the boss could change her clothes in 1 week that would be good... 5/ No small lounge after 10 p.m....you sit on the stairs or outside. 6/ To conclude, if you have a minimum of standards and dignity, move on..."

"This hotel is in a beautiful old building in the place Saint Martin in the centre of Souillac. Very friendly, helpful, informative member of staff who welcomes you on arrival. Large bedroom with en suite and comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent and varied. Quiet. Please be aware that if you arrive on a Monday evening all the town is closed and dining out difficult. Other nights were Ok but not a huge choice. Parking available. Ideal situation from which to explore the Dordogne."

"Here for a family wedding. Hotel very basic. Rooms clean. Parking awful. Breakfast not great. Absolutely no extras in rooms. No drawers to put clothes. One small wardrobe. One kettle no coffee or tea in rooms. Beds hard. Don’t go if you cannot walk very well. Steps only no lift. The surrounding pool area is very run down. It’s really just a small garden with rickety old chairs. The bathroom was minute and had very worn tiling on the walls which was unsightly. The only thing I would say about this Hotel is the manager is helpful. It’s a run down hotel that does fit well with its three starts only. I wouldn’t revisit I’m Afraid."

"Fabulous location close to the chateau where we were attending a wedding. Quaint village and the hotel was wonderful. Fabiene was definitely the hostess with the mostess and made our stay so enjoyable. The resident dogs, Oopsie and Lol were a fun addition!! The breakfast was very extensive and delicious. The rooms were cleaned and replenished daily and the room rate was very reasonable. Loved every bit of our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel."
