"We stayed in the standard room which does not have sea views. The room was quiet and clean, though relatively small and small bathroom. The decor was fairly ordinary and the bed was on a platform which was a bit dangerous at night. There was nowhere to sit in the room, just a stool for one - no chairs. The interior corridoors were very dark and it didn't feel like a plush hotel. There was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel but the price is excessive for what it is and compared to everywhere else we stayed in Romania and Bulgaria. We only chose to stay here as I couldn't find anything else in Sozopol that was at the higher end. The location is excellent - at edge of old town. The pool was open strange hours with no shade so not really usable. The staff were not 5 star standard service quality. The breakfast had lots of variety but again quality not as good as other places we stayed in Bulgaria and Romania. There seems to be limited competition in Sozopol at the moment. If the prices were lower then it may be more reasonable."

"Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this hotel, but there were a number of issues that affected our comfort. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked, but the sitting room unit was broken from the day we arrived. We reported it, and while an engineer confirmed it was out of gas, it was never repaired during our stay. We also heard other guests with similar complaints. There was a leak in our bathroom from the room above, and although we reported it to reception multiple times, it took several attempts before anything was done. The dining area and corridors have no air conditioning, which made meals uncomfortable in 36°C heat. We found this quite unacceptable in such weather. Housekeeping was inconsistent—beds were often not made unless we asked, and restaurant service was very slow. We regularly had to ask for our table to be cleared and cleaned. We did enjoy some aspects of the hotel, but the lack of responsiveness and basic maintenance issues really need to be addressed to improve the guest experience."

"Resort itself is very good . But the restaurant on site prices are double of all other restaurants food ok but service poor they brought out all mains and starters together so went cold quick when I said take one of starters away the young waitress said she couldn't because she had given the order to the chef when trying to talk to her she just walked away very rude. The pools are nice but not once did I see the pools get cleaned there is some black mould on the tiles at bottom.there is no private beach as advertised. The beachfront and roads are like the UK in the 70s. Beach restaurants are ok for food but are just wooden shacks. Wouldn't come back."
