"This hotel is relatively close to Jakarta Airport and offers a free shuttle to the airport every half-hour or so. No doubt, when the hotel was built it was even more convenient than it is now, but a new freeway cuts off the direct access and so the drive to the hotel from the airport is a bit convoluted. The hotel is very basic and there is not much around the hotel that is easily accessible by foot if you have a few hours to kill. There is a small (basic) restaurant at the entrance to the hotel and a few local restaurants (under tarpaulins) within walking distance. Some of the nearby hotels have restaurants and bars if you are looking for something a little more sophisticated (POP! hotel only has a vending machine in the lobby). The walls are thin and you can hear noise in corridors and from neighbouring rooms, and the bathroom is compact and plastic, to put it politely. It is a clean, basic, cheap and cheerful hotel, but don't expect sophistication."
