Spa hotels in Malang City

Exceeded expectations overall! The facilities are excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is good. Great value for money, definitely recommend staying here. The environment is lovely, the front desk staff are friendly, and the hygiene is top-notch. It's also very convenient for getting around.

It’s a very nice hotel spacious enough , I get an up grade from Mountain View room into bathtub room. Breakfast is complete and variously… And there is a restaurant just across the hotel

Our stay at Tugu Malang was beyond expectation. The food is refined and abundant, the room was lovely decorated, the people are so kind and there is so much antique that can be discovered when walking around the hotel. The choice for Christmas music played bij gamelan instruments wa firsts intrresting but over time became a little annoying. This was just minor, the whole experience was great.

The hotel itself is in the city centre and within a mall which is convenient but it can get very crowded (and jammed) on weekends. The staff are polite and understanding. We had to pay 100k IDR deposit for our rooms but since we were carrying sleeping kids, they let us check into the rooms first. Room is clean but old and basic. The room does not have safe deposit box, unmovable shower head. Basic amenities are dental kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, and lotion. Shampoo and shower gel are 2-in-1 and stuck on the wall. There’s only bath towel (no hand towel). Sound-proofing can be improved since the corridor is not carpeted. Breakfast is free for kids 5 and below. Taste-wise it’s ok. Apart from egg station, salad, waffles and bakery section, the rest are very much Indonesian style.

The place is very strategic, lots of food around, next to it is also Alfa Mart. Suitable for those of you who are backpackers and don't bring a vehicle. If you bring a private vehicle, the parking is not very suitable because it is narrow, few and hot, even though there is a guard at night. Pretty clean with the competitive prices offered by trip.com. For those of you who bring children, the rooms are quite spacious...so the children have space to play.

Wow... Grand Cakra Malang was amazing for our family Christmas vacation in Malang. There's a GMS Church in the hotel ballroom, so we could attend service there – absolutely incredible! I didn't realize all of God's blessings before. We had a memorable Christmas at Grand Cakra. There are many coffee shops and eateries in front of the hotel. It's in the Arraya area, an upscale residential neighborhood in Malang... It was great staying for 4 days and 3 nights. The 2-bedroom suite with breakfast was fantastic, and it was also close to the pool, so my grandkids could swim. Overall, it was wonderful. The service is very friendly,,,,hopefully there will be an elevator soon...the rooms are clean, more spacious than other hotels, what was unexpected is that there is a small pool 😍

Good hotel, a bit out of the town, room is big and comfortable, room is decorated with nice contemporary look.
