"The swimming pool is quite picturesque. The breakfast was also very good. The only problem was that it was quite tiring to push the luggage from the train station. It was uphill and downhill, and there were stairs at the hotel entrance, no ramp, so moving luggage was difficult. When I originally booked, I saw that the shuttle was free, but when I arrived in Switzerland, it became a paid service. Other than that, everything was good."

"Spiez itself is quite small, and the hotel is very close to the train station. We stayed in Spiez and took the train every morning to visit Grindelwald, Zermatt, and Interlaken, which was very convenient. If you arrive late, you can self-check-in. I thought our room would be small because we booked the last one, but it turned out to be very spacious (at least much larger than an Ibis room) and comfortable. When checking in at night, I saw free bread and fruit available for guests to take. In the morning, you can buy bread downstairs for a few Swiss francs to take with you as snacks for the road. The only downside is that the Coop in Spiez closes too early and is closed on weekends. However, public transport in Switzerland is so convenient that you can just take a one-stop train to the Coop at Bern train station."

"Check-in at the front desk was a bit slow, but the service was very good. Because it's a small town, there are no places to buy things nearby. The busiest place is the train station. The road from the hotel to the train station is all uphill and very difficult to walk. The most convenient way to get to the hotel is by boat, as the pier is very close."
