The St Ives Bay Hotel
"Traditional Victorian Style room, a good experience. The hotel doesn't have lift, need to walk stairs, may be inconvenient if you are level 3 residents. Good service. There is also a bar where live music is performed during night times. Very good location near train and bus station."
Tregenna Castle Resort
"Excellent location, spotless, almost all required amenities"
Pedn-Olva
"Fantastic location with a great sea view. Some compromises in other aspects, especially the breakfast. It was good that we could order one item from the menu, but the eggs benedict was average."

Treloyhan Manor
"Beautiful hotel we stayed in ground floor one bed apartment with our dogs. Apartment is immaculate with nice fixtures and furnishings. Felt lovely home from home. The hotel provided nice quality extras with some bread, butter, cheese, smoked salmon, jams and the kitchen is really well supplied with all utensils. Additionally there are nice toiletries in the bathroom. You can also use the neighbouring spa and hot tubs at a small cost. Short walk to the back gate for the coastal path about 300-400 metres in either direction takes you to Carbis Bay or St Ives. Carbis bay is stunning and we loved playing on the beach after 6 pm With the dogs especially with the number of seals around to watch. My only critique of the hotel was that Dressing gowns were not provided especially if you use the spa or Hit tubs and no door mat at the terrace to wipe your feet on. But such small issues for how beautiful the hotel is and helpful and friendly all the staff were."
Harbour Hotel & Spa St Ives
"The hotel is not big, it is easy to miss by car, you can park on the opposite side, walk to the beach for about 10 minutes, book a sea view room, the room looks out to the sea and the beach next to the train station, the internal facilities of the room are OK, there is no air conditioning, breakfast is average."
The Badger Inn
"Omg, terrible food, inedible at first. This got one star based on the staff being friendly. The food was cold so they offered to reheat it. I told the staff to check how cold it was so the chef touched the vegetables with the back of his hand, wearing no gloves and then proceeded to stir the vegetables and said the one veg was warm, he tested the warmest area, at the bottom of the bain marie. The chef shouted to the kitchen staff "to make sure when they bring out the food, that its piping hot". We paid to have a meal out, a treat in this economic climate i must add, which was cold and in edible in the first place, for it then to be nuked in a microwave, killing any nutritional value. Then I asked for a fresh Yorkshire pudding because it was rock hard from being reheated in the microwave, so the chef got a sideplate, picked up a Yorkshire pudding with his hands and passed it to me on a plate. Health and safety alert!! No gloves, no temperature probe to check food temperature. Other diners next to us, said there food was cold however, "they were that hungry they just ate it". Im sorry Badger inn it is not good enough. I mean the staff were nice, toilets were bearable, the soap in the ladies is in a plastic tub, again health and safety. It's disgusting, do you not care Badger Inn? A soap dispenser is a couple of pounds. Then when you go to pay you are asked if you want to pay a tip, minimum £3. NO BUT I WILL GIVE YOU A TIP, BADGER INN, PROVIDE BETTER FOOD, AND FOLLOW HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS. I actually think the staff were offended I had the audacity to complain. On a positive note if the food had of been edible, then the choice of vegetables were good, but there was no mash potato, just suede mash. I personally don't recommend the venue, but they did seem to offer quiz, nights and various other events. I do not even think they are bothered what reviews they get anyway."

Trevose Harbour House
"Can’t recommend highly enough, absolutely beautiful and a credit to you both. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. From the room to the food excellent."
Gwel An Chapel
Atlantic Heights Guest House
"The facilities and hygiene are great. The landlord is very warm, but the sound insulation is very poor. You can't speak loudly after 11 p.m. Generally speaking, it is very suitable for the sea view."
St. Ives Holiday Village
"Had a great holiday here I love coming down to Cornwall. However I picked this site this year mainly because of the bus service but I was told when I got there it no longer runs on site ans would have to walk down to the bus stop down the road. It was a very busy road it had a path most of the way however you then got to a blind bend where the path just stopped so was in no way safe to walk, we had to use a taxi service every day to go out which has cost us an absolute fortune and while I understand it is not the fault of the holiday park I think an email to say the bus service had stopped as soon as they knew would have been a good idea. The accommodation was nice however one night a small mouse had gotten in we managed to get it out fairly quickly but still. The bar closed most nights at 10.30pm even of there were still people up and the shop ran out of essentials most days early on I can't count the amount of times I went for milk in the morning to find there was none there. That being said the staff were lovely and the stripeys were great and the entertainment was very good."

Headland House Luxury B&B
"We had a delightful two-night stay at Headland house and loved everything. Amazing hosts, beautiful room with wonderful views over Carbis bay. We loved the extra touches in the room especially the home made cakes. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and made to order which was served in the conservatory with sea views. We enjoyed the location as the house sits just above Carbis Bay with easy access to the railway and all the local restaurants, beach and coastal walks. We loved the area and will definitely be returning."
Borthalan Hotel
"Margret and Martin are friendly and attentive hosts. The guest house is lovely and clean and was an ideal place to stay for the wedding I was attending in Carbis Bay. Breakfast both days was perfect with a great variety of choice. If I am ever heading back to st Ives or carbis bay I would definitely stay here again."
