3-Star Hotels in Taipei

The location is very convenient. The best part is the air conditioning – it's on the ceiling so it doesn't blow directly on you, and the controls are flexible. The room is also very spacious. The best thing was that even though check-in was stated as 4:00 PM, we arrived early around 3:00 PM, and without us even asking, the front desk immediately checked us in.

This is my second stay here. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-10 minute walk straight from Exit 1 of Shuanglian MRT Station. The lounge offers a great selection of hot and cold drinks, game consoles, massage chairs, and small desserts. The front desk service is also excellent. Ningxia Night Market and Chifeng Street are all within walking distance.

The rooms are clean. You can use the hairdryer for free. There is also free mineral water and snacks every day. You can fill the water in the lobby too. There is a window, but it's not very big. It's close to Main Station, HSR Airport, and the bus station. You can walk there. There are a lot of food stalls, and the prices are lower than in Ximending.

This hotel is very close to Taipei Main Station. The environment is clean and tidy, and although the facilities are basic, there's a sofa, which is acceptable for the price. The best part is the abundance of food options nearby, excellent transportation links, and it's just a few minutes from the MRT, making it very convenient and great for exploring. I originally booked a windowless room, but the hotel upgraded me to a room with a window, which made for an even more comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

This is our second time staying in Stat Beauty Hotel for their Luxury Double Room. This time we stay for 4 nights and the location of the hotel is near the MTR station and the night market of Shillin Night Market. It will about 15 - 20 minutes from the hotel walk to the MTR station or take 20 - 26 minutes from the hotel walk to Shillin Night Market. The room we booked is big enough for us it two persons that stay and the room is nice but the hotel always provide one pillow for one person . If I sleep on the bed with only one pillow then I can see the rooftop and not the TV. I suggest to the hotel to provide two pillows for each person to stay  without our request, so that he can watch the TV easily. The bathroom is big and come with a big bathtub. The water pressure is now t very strong but just good enough for shower.  I would like to make a bit complaint to the old lady for the the housekeeping. She only come to change towels, refill toiletries  and thru rubbish only and never do cleaning and arrange the bedding. So on my third day O have towels request to the front seat to tell her to clean our toilet. Overall we are happy to stay in Star Beauty Hotel and would like to recommend this hotel to other travellers. I will stay again if I come to Taipei in the future.

Meworld Hotel has an excellent and convenient location, just a short walk from Taipei Main Station MRT Exit Z4. It’s especially convenient for travelers going to or coming from the airport, with easy access to transportation. The room was reasonably clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The main drawback is that the soundproofing is not very good, so you can hear noise from outside the room. Overall, it’s a practical choice for one-night stays, especially before or after a flight. The location and transportation convenience are the biggest highlights.

So far so good, room was comfy enough. Good area, walk just 3minutes away from shillin night market and 6minutes to metro station. The problem is there is no elevator to our room, meanwhile we got 3 big luggages 😕 Please mention if no elevator access to the room, thanks

Excellent value for money in central Taipei. The hostel's location is superb, close to Taipei Main Station and Ximending, with the MRT just a short walk away. The room was clean and simple, the bedding comfortable, and the facilities well-maintained. The 24-hour front desk was efficient and attentive. Free WiFi was stable, and the bathroom had good water pressure and full amenities. Soundproofing was good, ensuring a quiet and restful night's sleep. Suitable for business trips or short getaways, it's clean, convenient, and provides great service. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the MRT station, and there are several convenience stores right outside. However, what I really need to complain about is the bizarre placement of the showerhead in the bathroom! You can't stand and shower comfortably, and the water inevitably sprays all over the toilet seat and toilet paper (even with the shower curtain drawn properly). Even more horrifying, the hot water is incredibly difficult to regulate; it suddenly blasts out scalding hot water (not just warm).

I’ve stayed in several affordable hotels here in Taipei, and I understand that you usually get what you pay for. However, I still believe that basic cleanliness and proper maintenance should always be provided to guests regardless of the price range. Sadly, this has been the worst hotel experience I’ve had so far. First of all, the room did not feel clean at all. The bathtub was extremely dirty, with visible stains and molds around it. Even the toilet walls, floors, and sink area looked poorly maintained. There was also a water leak from the toilet ceiling, which made the bathroom feel even more uncomfortable. The fridge still had leftover food from the previous guest, which honestly made me question if the room had been cleaned properly before we arrived. I also requested for the bed to be cleaned, but after staying there, I suddenly developed rashes, which made me worried about the cleanliness of the sheets and pillows. The sheets had stains, maybe blood stains (not sure what it was). The pillow also had an unpleasant smell, as if it had not been washed properly. As someone who values cleanliness, this was very disappointing and uncomfortable. Another issue was the condition of the room itself. Despite having several light bulbs installed, only one light was working, making the entire room feel dark and gloomy. The walls and bathroom areas clearly need maintenance and renovation. On top of that, the soundproofing was very poor. I could hear noises from other rooms very clearly, including conversations and even dripping water sounds throughout the night, making it difficult to rest comfortably. What disappointed me the most was that the photos posted online looked completely different from the actual room. The hotel appeared much cleaner and more maintained in the pictures, which honestly gave us expectations that were far from reality. However, I genuinely want to commend the staff because they were the only bright side of our stay. The receptionist was very kind, polite, and accommodating from the moment we arrived. They were approachable and communicated well in English, which was very helpful for foreign guests like us. Despite the condition of the hotel, the staff still tried their best to assist guests professionally and respectfully. You can tell that they are hardworking people simply doing their job properly. That is also why I feel bad leaving this kind of review. The staff members deserve appreciation because they handle guests with patience and kindness, even though many of the problems seem to come from the hotel’s maintenance and management itself. It honestly feels like the employees are the ones carrying the burden of complaints that should already be addressed by the owner. My brother and I even considered changing hotels, but since we were only staying for 2 nights and 1 day, we decided to just endure it. I truly hope the owner takes guest feedback seriously because the hotel has potential if proper cleanliness, maintenance, and care are given attention. I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I think future guests deserve an honest experience, and I also hope this review encourages improvements because the staff truly deserve a better-managed workplace and guests deserve a cleaner and more comfortable stay.
