"The hotel is simple but in a good location, and it’s clean. I knew the room didn’t have any windows when I booked it. That would have bothered me on a longer stay, but I was only at the hotel for one night, so it was fine. The staff are very friendly. I was able to leave my suitcases there after checking out."

CChinaJungI like to come there when im in Taipei. Its a good hotel and generous sized rooms. Also I need say thank you for the great check in. I arrived a bit early and could check in earlier to make fresh (unfortunately I forgot the ladies name). The Japanese room service breakfast was also decent and fast delivered. I know all need sustainable at this time, but it would be more convenient if there are shaving kit and a toothbrush in the room or the front desk would ask upon check in, if need.
AAnonymous UserThere's construction on one side of the hotel, and the old windows don't close properly, so diesel fumes from the crane wafted directly into the bedroom. Not to mention the noise from the building work – imagine driving a car without air conditioning, stuck behind a diesel truck constantly spewing exhaust fumes. The result? A headache that required painkillers.
Luckily, Trip.com was great and got me a room change.
The mattress is very soft, so if you prefer lumbar support, you should reconsider. The family with kids next door was very noisy, and the front desk promptly moved me to another room. The transportation is very convenient, with the MRT station just a two-minute walk away.
The hotel lobby is like an MRT platform, bustling with people – from young to old, student groups to limping seniors, all attending some event. It's the opposite of quiet. If you enjoy crowded fairs, you might like the lively atmosphere. Even checking in took about 10 minutes.

Very Good
Mmimi0513Let's start with the positives:
The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel.
The room was spacious, bright, and clean.
Now for the negatives:
It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded.
The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size.
The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing.
Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.
KkhtravelThe hotel's interior decor is stunning, with a strong Japanese feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, featuring a private onsen and yukata. Plus, there are complimentary drinks and snacks. If you check in around 3 PM, you can enjoy a tea ceremony performance with free green tea and snacks. Breakfast offers a wide and delicious selection!

Good
MM885843****There was a persistent sewage smell in the room that couldn't be resolved. The front desk staff were very responsive, but could only offer a deodorizing spray to mask the smell. On the last day, the in-room Wi-Fi stopped working, which meant no TV and no screen mirroring. Overall, the service was okay, and the location was convenient, but the hardware facilities, environment, and breakfast were all subpar. I wouldn't consider staying here again.

GGuest UserThe 1.8-meter bed was great, and the room was clean. There was also a large bathtub, though I didn't get a chance to use it this time. The location is super convenient, right across from Exit 2 of Jiannan Road MRT Station. Breakfast was included, and the fried chicken udon noodles were pretty good. However, the variety of other breakfast options was quite limited, so I'd suggest they add more.

SScTpgBooked an extra night at Caesar Metro Taipei based on the glowing reviews, and I'm so glad I did. The hotel delivered on every promise – clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a fantastic location near the MRT. The city view from my room was breathtaking. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

JJesseMackenzieMy 4-night stay at Hotel Éclat Taipei was incredible. The hotel doubles as a private art gallery, with stunning sculptures and paintings at every turn. The service was warm and personal, and the room was filled with high end comforts that made the trip feel truly special. Perfectly located in the Da’an District, it is a quiet, stylish masterpiece. Highly recommended! They make a great espresso martini 👌
