"Overall, my stay was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and a well-developed surrounding area. What impressed me most was the room's view – Taipei 101 was clearly visible from the window, offering different beauty both day and night. Especially when the lights came on at night, the entire city's atmosphere was captivating, giving a relaxing and therapeutic feeling.
The room itself was clean and tidy, with efficient use of space. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a restful sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete, with stable hot water, and the overall hygiene was reassuring. The hotel staff were friendly, making check-in and check-out very smooth, and any issues were promptly addressed.
Additionally, there are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, making daily life very convenient. It's suitable for both short trips and slightly longer stays. If you're visiting Taipei, especially looking for accommodation with a city view and good value for money, this hotel is a worthwhile option to consider. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay."

"The photos accurately depict the room; it's quite small, so you won't be able to open your luggage. The soundproofing is honestly a bit lacking. The spa area, however, is quite spacious, and the overall style of the hotel is traditional/antique."

Service: The team is quite professional, and the shuttle service is very thoughtful. The only downside is that their internal system isn't integrated, so I had to repeat information every time a different staff member assisted me.

CChinaJungI like to come there when im in Taipei. Its a good hotel and generous sized rooms. Also I need say thank you for the great check in. I arrived a bit early and could check in earlier to make fresh (unfortunately I forgot the ladies name). The Japanese room service breakfast was also decent and fast delivered. I know all need sustainable at this time, but it would be more convenient if there are shaving kit and a toothbrush in the room or the front desk would ask upon check in, if need.

RR_FamilyThis is our second time staying at JR, again right before the Chinese New Year, and we stayed for three nights. We were mainly satisfied because the twin room was very spacious, perfect for our family of four. Since we usually sleep late, we opted for a room without breakfast; if needed, we could always buy it from the front desk, and there are plenty of hidden gem eateries nearby for brunch, afternoon tea, coffee, etc. The best part is the small park behind the hotel with a stone slide that's great for letting the kids burn off energy. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip and stay.

The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel.
The room was spacious, bright, and clean.
Now for the negatives:
It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded.
The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size.
The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing.
Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.

AAdonis_ToThe hotel boasts an excellent location. Upon exiting Xinbeitou MRT station, it's immediately visible across the road to your left. The service was also top-notch. During check-in, I was offered a unique tea, and the process was completed swiftly. A staff member assisted me with my luggage to the room, explaining the hotel's facilities and complimentary activities along the way. During my stay, activities included an escape room, a 'night witch' tour, and a yoga class. The staff also informed me about the breakfast restaurant's location, explaining that some items are a one-time serve, while others are all-you-can-eat. They even recommended the ********* beef noodles. Once in the room, they thoroughly explained its features and offered helpful tips. The hotel's proximity to the library, Beitou Geothermal Valley, and the Hot Spring Museum makes it incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe breakfast was plentiful and varied, and even came with alcoholic beverages. Jack Zhang, the service manager, was incredibly enthusiastic, genuinely introducing us to Beitou's cultural relics and even helping us take photos. Dinner was also great, with generous portions and delicious food. I'm so glad I brought my mom here for this trip!

CChok KimYoongI had an excellent stay at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. The location is unbeatable—right next to Taipei 101 and in the heart of the Xinyi district, making it so convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining.
From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff always greeted me with a smile. My room was spacious, very clean, and well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a great view of Taipei 101. Housekeeping kept everything spotless during my stay.
Breakfast was another highlight—the buffet had a wide variety of delicious choices, both Western and Asian, and everything was fresh. I also appreciated the hotel facilities, especially the gym and pool, which were well maintained.
Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Taipei for anyone visiting the city. It truly delivers a luxury experience with comfort, excellent service, and perfect location. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.

JJay626A stunning view greeted us when we first checked into our room. We didn't expect to see a great view of the Taipei 101 given the hotel's location. A perfect place to watch countdown fireworks. Hotel room was very clean and spacious. You can see the small details and effort in maintaining the room. Welcome snacks were delicious. Special mention to the popcorn which was so good. Good location with walking distance to nearby hypermarket and 西门町. Well connected to nearby mrt and bus stations. Definitely living up to its high scoring.
