Romantic Hotels in Taipei

"Had a pleasant stay at MeWorld Hotel Taipei Main Station. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Taipei Main Station, making it convenient for getting around the city and travelling to and from the airport. The room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with the essentials for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. However, the lift requires a relatively longer waiting time. Overall, the hotel offers great value for its location."

"The pictures were taken when i’m about to check out so it doesn’t look neat. Overall i enjoyed my stay, there was one particular staff in which i forgot the name, night shift wear glasses, she was the sweetest! I explained my situation and she assisted me with all her might. The breakfast they have was one of a kind. Never had hotpot in a hotel. The location was also convenient, few walks to ximending subway and 1km to taipei main station."

"The hotel had very poor ventilation; the hallways and rooms smelled stale. There was some mold on the ceilings and wall corners of the room. Soundproofing wasn't great either, as I could hear someone snoring in the adjacent room in the middle of the night. However, the location was excellent, and the hotel staff were very friendly."

"The hotel location is not too bad. It’s a 5 to 9 minute walk from the metro station in a straight line. If you walk in the opposite direction, it’s the way to the Ningxia night market. Very convenient location if you’re commuting by metro for most of your trip. The room and hallway are bright and clean. No strong, or foul, strange odours at all. Each floor has a feature entrance to the hallway. For example, the 8th floor is Maji Meow and is quite cute. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. They are staffed by people who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. The chamber maid was very friendly and helpful and accommodating to our needs since we asked for extra covers. The only negative is the room is cold and there is no way to adjust the temperature correctly. We turned the temperature up to 30 degrees Celsius, but the actual temperature on the panel ended up as 18 degrees Celsius no matter what we tried. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It didn’t help that one of the air conditioning vents are directly over the bed. The independent twin beds in the room are more suited for children as some others have said since they tend to be on the soft side and really fall in when you sit on them. However, if you don’t mind a soft bed, they’re fine for adults. We also loved there’s a whole downstairs room and area complete with a hot and cold drink machine like coffee, milk tea, soy milk and milk. There’s also a water machine with hot and cold water. They also have tea leaf eggs which are delicious, assorted snacks, and flavoured jelly. It’s well used by other guests there. We saw a variety of travellers from different places. We saw a lot of Japanese travellers there though. They also have a gaming station as well as a computer you can access the internet. Both wireless and Lightning charging stations are also available. You can spend all day in there if you like. However, they do have operating hours there (5 am to 2 am the time we stayed there). In the corner they also have a massage chair. It’s all an unexpected bonus! :-) You may also order breakfast (paid separately on your own) with the front desk and they’ll have breakfast cooked and ready for you since it looks like they have a full kitchen downstairs. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Yomi Hotel. Will definitely be one of our top choices when we visit Taipei again."

"Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel's location is very convenient and strategic. It's within walking distance of Ximending, and there are plenty of restaurants and places to eat nearby, making it easy to explore the area. One downside is that the hotel no longer provides room amenities, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast could also be improved. The menu was quite repetitive, and the food wasn't very tasty"

"The room is spacious enough, but I'm just skeptical about the open floor plan with a lavatory and just shower and toilet doors separating the ”restroom” area to the bed space. The layouf gave it a more spacious feel, but it's just weird. Shower - no hot water option, or maybe there's something wrong with the water distribution but it was freezing cold. Just thought about it as something to wake me up. Room location - requested for a quiet room, but was assigned a room just 3 steps away from the laundry area and probably breaker/power room + fire exit and stairs. A feng shui nightmade if you ask me. Everything'z buzzing, other guests doing laundry were noisy past 11pm, and I get awaken every 2 hours. Didn't bother to ask for a different room already as I was just staying for 2 nights and it's exhausting. The hotel is safe, though. They lock the main entrance access and just use key card to have it opened. So that's a plus in security. Water - they don't have a water refilling station and it's just a pitcher that leaks. Would be nice to have a water dispenser instead."

"The hotel has everything that you will need! Free drinks and snacks at the lobby, very stable WiFi, super efficient daily housekeeping, very polite staff, great location with bus stops and subway station nearby, working elevator, plenty of food options nearby, away from the city for a good night’s rest, etc! I will definitely want to be back here the next time I’m in Taipei 💙🇹🇼"
