GGuest UserWe recently had the pleasure of staying at the Humble Boutique Hotel from March 30 to April 5, 2026, for our first sightseeing trip to Taipei. We would like to express our genuine gratitude for the hospitality we received during our six-day visit.
Commendable Service & Hospitality
The true highlight of our stay was the staff. From the concierge and housekeeping teams to the gym and restaurant staff, everyone worked diligently to ensure the hotel ran smoothly. We were particularly impressed by the team’s English proficiency; communication was seamless, making us and the many international guests we encountered feel very much at home.
We would like to extend a special thank you to:
* Kaley, Tina, and Mary at the restaurant for their attentive service.
* Our dedicated housekeeper (the kind lady from Vietnam) who looked after our room on the 9th floor.
Excellent Facilities & Location
* Prime Accessibility: The hotel’s location in the central district is incredibly convenient. Being just steps away from the MRT station made our sightseeing effortless, and the 30-minute shuttle ride from the airport was very efficient.
COMPACT GYM: It’s compact but contains most of the equipments I need including treadmill, stairclimbers, Multi- purpose gym stations and dumbbell.
WARM SWIMMING POOL: nice, long and warm - the water is kept at a temperature of 28 degree. Towel will be provided. Make sure to bring your own swimming hat if you prefer to swim.
* Accommodations: Our corner King Room on the 9th floor was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided a very cozy retreat after a long day of exploring.
* Wellness & Dining: We enjoyed the well-equipped, compact gym and the lovely heated pool, which was maintained at a comfortable 28°C. Furthermore, the semi-buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor was a daily highlight. Each of the five main course options was delicious and well-prepared.
Constructive Reflections
In the spirit of helpfulness, we noticed two small areas for potential improvement. First, the installation of a few coin-operated laundry machines would be a wonderful convenience for long-term travelers. Second, as the hotel is so centrally located, there is some audible road noise even on the higher floors; however, this is understandable given the prime location.
FINAL
We would rate our experience a 9.5/10. Had there been laundry facilities, it would have been a perfect 10. The Humble Boutique Hotel will undoubtedly be our first choice when we return to Taipei. Thank you for making our first visit so memorable.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay was very satisfying. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and a well-developed surrounding area. What impressed me most was the room's view – Taipei 101 was clearly visible from the window, offering different beauty both day and night. Especially when the lights came on at night, the entire city's atmosphere was captivating, giving a relaxing and therapeutic feeling.
The room itself was clean and tidy, with efficient use of space. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a restful sleep. The bathroom facilities were complete, with stable hot water, and the overall hygiene was reassuring. The hotel staff were friendly, making check-in and check-out very smooth, and any issues were promptly addressed.
Additionally, there are many restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel, making daily life very convenient. It's suitable for both short trips and slightly longer stays. If you're visiting Taipei, especially looking for accommodation with a city view and good value for money, this hotel is a worthwhile option to consider. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay.

GGuest UserWe stayed on the executive floor, one-bedroom suite with lounge access and were extremely disappointed by the service quality. Housekeeping was far below 5‑star standards — our bedsheets were never changed once during our 6‑day stay, and even the daily bed‑making was sloppy and careless.
The executive lounge experience was equally poor. We stood at the counter waiting to be checked in while three staff members were present. Only one was serving a western guest; the other two completely ignored us. After waiting several minutes with a toddler, we walked in to find a seat first. A staff member then approached us impatiently, telling us we “should have waited outside,” despite the fact that they had ignored us the entire time. The attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming.
For a hotel that markets itself as 5‑star and charges premium rates, the service and attention to detail were nowhere near acceptable.

AAnonymous UserThere's construction on one side of the hotel, and the old windows don't close properly, so diesel fumes from the crane wafted directly into the bedroom. Not to mention the noise from the building work – imagine driving a car without air conditioning, stuck behind a diesel truck constantly spewing exhaust fumes. The result? A headache that required painkillers.
Luckily, Trip.com was great and got me a room change.
The mattress is very soft, so if you prefer lumbar support, you should reconsider. The family with kids next door was very noisy, and the front desk promptly moved me to another room. The transportation is very convenient, with the MRT station just a two-minute walk away.
The hotel lobby is like an MRT platform, bustling with people – from young to old, student groups to limping seniors, all attending some event. It's the opposite of quiet. If you enjoy crowded fairs, you might like the lively atmosphere. Even checking in took about 10 minutes.

The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel.
The room was spacious, bright, and clean.
Now for the negatives:
It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded.
The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size.
The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing.
Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.

GGuest UserThis hotel is truly fantastic! All the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the place is spotless. It's conveniently located for getting around, and the rooms are spacious. Our stay was absolutely wonderful! This was our first trip to Taipei from Australia, and while the hotel is a historic five-star, the bathroom definitely seemed newly renovated. The breakfast was also outstanding, easily the best we've had at any five-star hotel we've stayed in. I also want to give a special shout-out to the housekeeping staff. In my rush to pack, I completely forgot where I'd put my cash and couldn't find it when I got home. After I called, they were incredibly diligent in helping me search my room and called me back promptly. Turns out I had just forgotten it in a corner! I was so anxious at the time, but they were genuinely amazing! I was so touched! This is a trustworthy hotel worth staying at; from check-in to check-out, we felt nothing but joy and peace of mind. And it's not just because of the help we received, but also because every little detail showed such thoughtful care!

AAWMCThe location of this hotel is perfect, situated right next to 101. A short walk across the footbridge and you have access to a number of restaurants and food court.
The room itself is sufficient but a bit old and dated. The lobby is big and full of people, almost like a tourist attraction. With the doors constantly opening and closing, any cold air tends to escaping resulting in quite a warm and uncomfortable lobby.
