Taipei Hotels with Pools

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Humble Boutique Hotel from March 30 to April 5, 2026, for our first sightseeing trip to Taipei. We would like to express our genuine gratitude for the hospitality we received during our six-day visit. Commendable Service & Hospitality The true highlight of our stay was the staff. From the concierge and housekeeping teams to the gym and restaurant staff, everyone worked diligently to ensure the hotel ran smoothly. We were particularly impressed by the team’s English proficiency; communication was seamless, making us and the many international guests we encountered feel very much at home. We would like to extend a special thank you to: * Kaley, Tina, and Mary at the restaurant for their attentive service. * Our dedicated housekeeper (the kind lady from Vietnam) who looked after our room on the 9th floor. Excellent Facilities & Location * Prime Accessibility: The hotel’s location in the central district is incredibly convenient. Being just steps away from the MRT station made our sightseeing effortless, and the 30-minute shuttle ride from the airport was very efficient. COMPACT GYM: It’s compact but contains most of the equipments I need including treadmill, stairclimbers, Multi- purpose gym stations and dumbbell.  WARM SWIMMING POOL: nice, long and warm - the water is kept at a temperature of 28 degree. Towel will be provided. Make sure to bring your own swimming hat if you prefer to swim. * Accommodations: Our corner King Room on the 9th floor was spacious, impeccably clean, and provided a very cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. * Wellness & Dining: We enjoyed the well-equipped, compact gym and the lovely heated pool, which was maintained at a comfortable 28°C. Furthermore, the semi-buffet breakfast on the 2nd floor was a daily highlight. Each of the five main course options was delicious and well-prepared. Constructive Reflections In the spirit of helpfulness, we noticed two small areas for potential improvement. First, the installation of a few coin-operated laundry machines would be a wonderful convenience for long-term travelers. Second, as the hotel is so centrally located, there is some audible road noise even on the higher floors; however, this is understandable given the prime location. FINAL We would rate our experience a 9.5/10. Had there been laundry facilities, it would have been a perfect 10. The Humble Boutique Hotel will undoubtedly be our first choice when we return to Taipei. Thank you for making our first visit so memorable.

Overall, the stay was satisfying. The room quality, cleanliness, service attitude, and the delicate Japanese hospitality all demonstrated the standard expected of a five-star hotel. The only minor letdown was the somewhat underwhelming food selection in the executive lounge. During my stay, it was largely the same few dishes, lacking variety. The quality and sophistication didn't quite reflect the value expected of an executive floor, and it felt a bit perfunctory, missing any standout highlights. As an executive lounge in a five-star hotel, I believe that an improvement in dish rotation, ingredient quality, and plating details would enhance the guest experience and better meet guests' expectations for an executive lounge. Overall, it's still a quality hotel worth revisiting, and I look forward to seeing further improvements in the executive lounge in the future.

Excellent guest service. Someone from the staff is always very willing and ready to assist you at anytime. The room including the bathroom was clean and organized. It is diagonally across from the Miramar shopping center where you can eat at Starbucks, Friday’s, and Tim Ho Wan. Also, you can eat at the food court with a lot of different choices such as pasta or iron steak including Burger King, Krispy Kreme, Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone Creamery. There are also Chinese, Thai and Korean restaurants. You can also watch movies there as there is a huge cinema at Miramar shopping center. It is just a block and a half way from the MRT Jiannan Road stop exit 3. Also, if you want to enjoy good steak there is a Ruth Chris steakhouse very near the hotel. The hotel may not be in downtown Taipei but it is not far from Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT stop where there are many choices for good food and good shopping. The hotel is a good choice for a quiet place to stay if you value a good night sleep at a five star hotel without having an extremely expensive room rate. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Hotel seems to be very new. Breakfast buffet spread is very good. So conveniently located. Near the Lalaport shopping mall and near the HSR. Will stay again!

I personally found this place to be fantastic! The service attitude was top-notch, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The rooftop pool was also a major plus – perfect for some great photos.

Facilities: As it's a relatively new hotel, all the facilities are very new and clean. The only downside is that the shower door's waterproof strip was faulty, so every time I showered, water leaked out and wet the bathroom floor. I had to use many towels to soak up the water, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be high-end; such a small detail should not be an issue. Hygiene: As mentioned, the hygiene was excellent, which is expected from a new hotel. The housekeeping staff did an acceptable job. Ambiance: I particularly loved the decor; it's simple yet luxurious, modern yet refined, showing a great sense of style. Service: As an experienced traveler, I believe the service doesn't match a hotel that claims to be the top luxury hotel in Taipei. While the local Taiwanese staff are professional with their smiles and greetings, there's no warmth. You feel a coldness behind their smiles and enthusiasm. Dining: Overall, the dining was quite disappointing. They have a lounge, which functions like an executive lounge, but all the food was very ordinary. The drinks were excellent, but breakfast was also very average; the bread and food didn't live up to the hotel's luxurious decor. This was a major letdown. The breakfast and lounge food were far inferior to what you'd find at the Mandarin Oriental, which was quite disappointing. Summary: I've stayed in many hotels in Taiwan, including the Mandarin Oriental, Hyatt, and W. From a luxury, value-for-money, and service perspective, Cappella should not be ranked as Taipei's number one luxury hotel, for the following reasons: While the hardware is excellent, some details are lacking. As I mentioned, the bathroom's waterproof strip, and there was also a strange smell in the room, possibly due to the new renovation. These details need improvement to truly be considered Taipei's top luxury hotel. More importantly, the service needs work. Overall, the hotel should further strengthen its staff training on service to ensure guests genuinely feel their service is warm and thoughtful, rather than just professional. Only then will it live up to its luxury status and price. If you ask me to recommend this hotel, I have reservations. Given its reputation and price, it's not worth recommending. Perhaps if the value for money were better, it might be worth a try.

Let's start with the positives: The doorman, lobby manager, and front desk staff were all very professional, living up to the reputation of a renowned international hotel. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. Now for the negatives: It lacks grandeur. The lobby entrance is too narrow, making it feel like a busy market when crowded. The facilities are mediocre. The bidet toilet was installed too high; even at 172cm, my feet couldn't touch the ground when seated. The TV was incredibly small, disproportionate to the room size. The most frustrating issue was the poor soundproofing. The guests next door in room 1225 were speaking English, and perhaps they couldn't control their volume, but I could hear their conversations clearly, which was very loud and disturbing. This was extremely disappointing. Due to construction, the Ferris wheel was almost completely obscured. This isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an objective circumstance.

An excellent hotel, rich in history and definitely worth savoring. From the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance, staff were there to greet us and help with our luggage. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping staff, was incredibly polite. A special shout-out to the gentleman at the entrance – he has an amazing service ethic, always smiling, helping with photos, and opening/closing car doors. He truly makes you feel like he's running the place as if it were his own home. I hope management sees this and commends him! 👍 We also participated in the hotel's secret passage tour, which was fantastic. It wasn't just about staying at a hotel; we also got to learn about the local history and culture.

An absolutely wonderful hotel! I'd recommend it to friends and would definitely choose to stay here again. My friends are foreigners, and they had a few unexpected issues, but the hotel was very friendly and accommodating, even allowing a late check-out. They were so kind! The breakfast was a fantastic mix of Western and Chinese options.

Great value for money: Although the price is affordable, the service isn't compromised, and the attention to detail is excellent. I'll definitely stay here again. Convenient location: It's a 2-minute walk from the MRT exit, with plenty of food, drink, and entertainment options nearby, making it super convenient to get around. Cleanliness: The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom's tidiness put me at ease.
