GGuest UserThis hotel was a real pleasant surprise. I was originally just looking for a place with an indoor pool, and while this one is small, you can still enjoy it by yourself if you avoid peak hours. The interior design is very modern, simple yet sophisticated. The only thing missing is a drawer or cabinet for clothes. Another downside is that the pool is closed quite often. I'm not sure if this is typical for Taipei or just this hotel, as it's something you rarely see in other countries. I really liked their breakfast. The variety isn't overwhelming, but it's a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options.

GGuest UserThe Hollywood King Room had a really big and comfortable bed! We stayed for three nights. The toilet was a TOTO, and the wet/dry separation was a big plus! The hotel's location is super convenient, very close to Ximending Pedestrian Area. The only issue was on the first night, we had no cell signal, which led us to take a wrong turn after exiting the subway. The closest subway exit is the Underground Street - X6, and exit X5 has an escalator. We ended up having to take a taxi. The hotel's name is also hard to spot at night. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were incredibly diligent, constantly clearing plates. Overall, the service was excellent, and it offered great value for money.

Pp3t3Our stay at MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao was excellent from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to the Taipei Metro and bus services, making it a perfect base for exploring Taipei.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with a cozy bed that made it easy to rest after a full day out. As always, one of the highlights was the public bath — a relaxing experience that added so much to the stay.
We also loved the lounge area with complimentary beverages, which was a nice touch for unwinding during the day. Most importantly, the staff were consistently courteous, warm, and very helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
A wonderful stay overall, and we can’t wait to be back again.

TTholsimPros: Conveniently situated at Songshan station and directly connected to Citylink mall via link bridge. Breakfast is quite delicious. Room is spacious and with nice view.
Cons: Room design and corridors are minimally designed with some simple furniture, unworthy of its room price. Bed is hard to sleep on.

GGuest UserThis hotel is directly opposite the South 3 exit of Taipei Main Station. If you have luggage, I recommend using the ground level exit as it's very easy to find. The Z8 exit provides direct access to the underground mall, which is super convenient for food, shopping, and transportation. The hotel automatically upgraded our room, and we had a view of Taipei Main Station and Taipei 101. The room was spacious and comfortable, with enough room for three to four large suitcases. The double sinks were also very convenient, and there was a big bathtub. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. On the 4th floor, the lobby has a snack area, kids' facilities, and offers snacks and drinks.

RresplendentxHad a thoroughly enjoyable 4-night stay in Taipei. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller! The cleanliness was top notch throughout the hotel, and housekeeping did an excellent job daily. The location was also extremely convenient — just near the airport transfer at Taipei Main Station, which made travelling around very easy. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and fuss-free, and the staff provided great service throughout the stay. Amenities were great as well, with all the basic necessities (bottled water, room slippers and bath soap) thoughtfully provided. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

PPaul1stmayI had a pleasant stay overall, mainly because of the location. The hotel is very well-situated — it’s right in the center of everything, making it easy to find food, attractions, and nightlife nearby. You don’t have to walk too far to get around, which is very convenient.
The check-in and check-out process is strictly on time, but the hotel does provide a waiting area with seating, restrooms, and complimentary iced green tea, which helps make the experience more comfortable.
Breakfast, however, was a bit underwhelming. The hotpot option didn’t offer much variety — there was no meat, only items like fish balls and processed ingredients. I ended up trying it just once and decided it was better to spend the money eating outside instead.
The walls are also not very soundproof, so you may hear noise from neighboring rooms. That said, I personally found it an acceptable trade-off given how good the location is.
Overall, a solid choice if location is your top priority.

DDRYOLOThe room no carpet is good as won’t have the smoking smell and toilet only have one bath/shampoo soap which is not suitable for sensitive or oily hair or body. Do buy or bring your own bathing liquid. Love the location easy to flag taxi and the reception do help to call taxi. Near to my favourite cafe

GGuest UserHotel location was great! Didn’t provide amenities like toothbrush/toothpaste comb but this info was stately online already so we brought our own, no issue.
Nearby have convenience store, v near train station (ximen exit 5). The room for us was perfect, only the bathtub mat was abit moldy - it’s removable so just don’t use it. Otherwise we were happy with everything else & believe we got a room update as there was window inkjet room.
Toilet bidet was very good, keeps the seat warm all the time. Bed was comfortable and we had good night rest.
