CHW01013rd time staying in this hotel. Location is very close to subway so convenience is excellent. Room is much more spacious than the Humble Hotel in Xinyi area with much cheaper price. Gym is also better, and has a small swimming pool (I didn't try this time). However, I have a small suggestion for the gym to extend its operating hour (24 hours would be good like Humble Hotel). Service is super friendly as they remembered my booking details before so check-in was very smooth.
Room has bathtub, shower, a separate Japanese style toilet. Another thing I like specifically is how they treat water, every room has a glass bottle to get sparkling or still water from water machine on the same floor, apart from being friendly to environment, it also allows guests to take the suitable amount of water on their own without asking for extra bottles from the hotel.
I will come back next time. Thank you to all the hotel staff.

Hotel is located in an extremely convenient spot - next to the metro station as well as having both 7-eleven and family mart right next at your door step. Love the japanese bath layout with great water pressure.
The only downside is we found a piece of sharp metal on the carpet by accident that pierced right through the foot on our first day. The front desk were quick to apologized and offer additional cleaning service. Just wish they were a little more cautious with these things. Luckily it wasnt too severe.

Leohe95Overall, it's quite clean, and the location right opposite Songshan Station is super convenient for getting anywhere. However, the toilet flush isn't very strong, which sometimes means it doesn't clear properly – pretty awkward. Plus, the ventilation isn't great, so the bathroom design feels a bit off. Oh, and breakfast was really bad!

Sweetme Hotspring Resort is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from Xinbeitou Station and conveniently close to many restaurants.
One of the highlights of the stay was the spa experience. Guests can enjoy both the private in-room hot spring and the public spa facilities. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Breakfast was another strong point, with a good selection of food to start the day right.
Overall, Sweetme Hotspring Resort delivers a well-rounded experience with great amenities, a prime location, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back again.

Roxxxiiliciousi always love my stay at this main station location because it’s so convenient. Walking distance to dihua street, loads of food options, your next to the train station so if you need to get to airport or anywhere it’s right next door. It makes travelling around so simple. The staff are friendly. The room is always clean! It’s one of my favorite spots to stay!

Anonymous UserStrategically located between Taipei Station and Ximending, walking distance to both locations, make everything easy.
Though it's an relatively old hotel, room is spacious (we stayed in a Triple Room with 3 single beds), air conditioning is strong (way too strong in my opinion. It's centralized and set at 20 degrees), bathroom is big and water pressure is strong.
While self service washing machine and dryer are provided, the equipments are not well maintained. We patronized nearby laundry mart instead.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much.

SCharlesThis hotel boasts an excellent location, just a stone's throw from Ximending and the MRT station, making transportation and finding food incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and overall, it offers great value for money. It's the perfect base for exploring Taipei.

Luv to travelDue to its strategic location near Ximenting, this hotel commands a price premium. However is it really value for money? Not really.
The sound proofing is really bad. We were given rooms at the 3rd floor. You can clearly hear the noise from traffic below and even louder conversations from pedestrians along the street, including a lunatic screaming vulgar curses at the hotel from the ground floor at 2.10am.
Supposed to be equipped with laundromats (for a fee) but these were down the three days we were staying there. Breakfast was mostly Chinese selections with toasted bread and pastry choices.
Reception was robotic, no smiles, all following an SOP which they don’t deviate from. All your questions have been anticipated so you should be patient and hold them. They will be answered at the end.
Honestly no one needs to stay near to Ximenting for the entire trip, with subway and public transport so convenient. And you don’t go there every night so cast your net wider and you have more choices with better service and comfort.

Anonymous UserThe location is pretty good, very close to Beiche/Ximen Station, and there are many convenience stores, fruit shops, and restaurants downstairs. The only drawback is that I specifically booked a room with a window, but when I opened the curtains, it was just a solid wall, LOL, I was speechless!

The public pool is on the rooftop, and its operating hours are from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, meaning it's unavailable in the morning. Many of the lockers by the public pool are severely out of order.
The hotel doesn't have Wi-Fi. When I asked the front desk, they cited 'environmental issues.' I've seen many other guest comments with the same complaint, so it seems the hotel has no intention of resolving it.
The information stated free parking, but upon arrival at the hotel, I was told there's a disguised service charge of 100 NTD, and it's only valid for a single entry. If you leave and return, you have to pay the service charge again.
The breakfast was delicious, with every dish being very tasty.
The location is convenient, and the staff were very nice.
