Renovated in 2023, the TW Capsule Hostel is a great choice for accommodation in Taipei. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 1km from Taipei Station and 8km from Taipei Songshan Airport. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Ximen Metro Station within walking distance. Famous local attractions Dihua Street, Dadaocheng Dock and Taiwan Museum Railway Department Park, can all be reached with a short walk. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.
"Good stay for the price. Near Ximen MRT, checkin in another desk 5mn walk from the hotel. Slept quite well in the capsule but it’s not very sound proof otherwise was good. I could lay down entirely just enough (175cm). This might not be good if you’re taller than 180cm I think. There is a locker for your belongings and there is a small kitchen on 3rd floor. Overall recommend for a few nights."

GGuest UserWe had a good stay at Apause Inn, and we really want to highlight the great help we received from John. When we first checked into our room, we noticed that it wasn’t properly cleaned by the previous staff, which was a bit disappointing.
Thankfully, John handled the situation really well. He listened to our concern, acted quickly, and made sure everything was taken care of right away. His professionalism, calm approach, and genuine care made a big difference and turned the situation around for us.
Big thanks to John for stepping up and making sure we were comfortable. Because of him, we still had a pleasant stay and would consider coming back to Apause Inn.

NNiko KinzazuThe room was quite spacious; mine had a sauna. There was a partial view of Taipei 101 — only a small part of it, as the main view was of the building across the street, but that was fine for me. The hotel feels a bit dated, but it’s excellent value for money. The sauna heats up quickly and was great for warming up during the cold days in Taipei. The water pressure was good, and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was soft and clean. The TV was old and I wasn’t able to connect to it. There was no heating in the room, so it was quite cold, but the staff provided us with an extra blanket. Bottled water was provided in the room. The breakfasts were very good and filling. The location is also excellent — close to cafes and a metro station.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, right opposite the Y13 exit. First off, you'll need to climb stairs to reach the service counter as there's no elevator. The bathroom is en-suite, and they provide lockers. As for the bed setup, there's a small space at the head for personal items, and extra room at the foot of the bed for your luggage, backpack, and other belongings, which really helps create a more private feel. They offer a simple breakfast including toast, buns, shaomai, coffee, and tea.

GGuest UserThe hotel is bright, clean, and in a good location. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing.
During check-in, the staff (a lady with a birthmark on her left cheek) spoke to me in a very condescending and rude tone, as though I owed her something. I also observed that she treated other guests in the same manner. If she is unhappy with her job, she should quit rather than leave hotel guests with such an unpleasant experience.
Upon checkout, I left my luggage at the hotel and was asked what time I would collect it. I informed her that I would return at 10 pm., but she insisted that I collect it before 10 pm. As my flight was at 2 am., this forced me to rush back earlier than planned and head to the airport much sooner than necessary.

MMrsLeeSeunghyunRiriInitially i thought the location of the hotel was a little off but it was not far from Taipei main station if you take the TRA, its just 1 station(much faster than taking the green line train) . And you can take the green line to go anywhere conveniently like ximen(direct line) or can change to other lines as well.. There are some convenience stores, food places and all around Songshan station so it is quite convenient to stay here .. Its about 5-10 mins walk from the station to the hotel . Upon reaching the lobby, two male staffs on duty were welcoming and friendly .
My room was spacious, clean and nice ! Although a little dusty on the bed frame but everything else were clean .. Room had disposable slippers, small open wardrobe, kettle with coffee tea and mineral water bottles . Tv was huge . Can just connect to our own youtube/Netflix and nice to watch movie ! There were huge mirrors near the Tv and opposite the bed but I don't prefer having mirrors opposite the bed but its fine .. Iron board can be requested from the reception if you need it .
Bathroom is clean and spacious too but with only shower gel and shampoo provided(bring your own toiletries) . The shower gel and shampoo smelled really good - like in a spa feeling . 😍 Hair dryer was provided too !
The lobby was spacious with a sofa and some tables and chairs for guests to relax or have our drinks there . There were free amenities at the lobby such as coffee machine, water dispenser, some of their local snacks and even cold drinks in the fridge ! Also, they can help to heat up our foods for us, you just need to ask them for help .. All these amenities are really helpful for guests . Such an amazing service ! 👍
Raohe night market is nearby too, about 10 mins walk if you looking for street foods or some retail shops etc ..
The housekeeping aunty was a nice and sweet lady .. she probably can speak minimal english only but just show her the things that you need her to topup if you dont need her to clean your room .. 🥰
Upon checking out, we can leave our luggage and bag there at the lobby and they will pass you a small paper/card for you to retrieve back your things later . The female staffs there were kind and helpful too .
Overall, its been a wonderful stay here ! Will stay here again next time . Xiexie ni, CCSH ! 💛

Check in gets faster with your reply to the property telling them what type of room you have booked and what time you'll arrive. With booming businesses and too many bookings, the staff might get entangled in mess, so partially you reply is helping them to get grounded and avoid mistakes.
The property is clean, neat, nice and next to easy transport and family mart and 7e.

HHo SanThe room was spotless, much better than I expected. The location is super convenient, not far from the MRT and Shilin Night Market. The front desk staff were really welcoming. No smoking in the rooms, but there's a designated smoking area right outside the front entrance.

AAldo Lesmana Mukti PratamaThis hotel is located on the 7th floor of Asia Plaza Tower. Check-in starts at 4 PM, but you can leave your luggage earlier, which is very convenient. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Taipei Main Station.
The room looks newly renovated and is clean, giving a fresh and comfortable feel. However, the amenities are quite limited, as there is no hair dryer provided. Overall, a good stay for its location and cleanliness.

GGuest UserThis hotel is super convenient, just a 1-minute walk from Taipei Main Station's M2 exit. You can easily walk to Ningxia Night Market and Ximending in about 20 minutes, and even Dihua Street if you're up for it. Popular spots like Fuhang Soy Milk and Shuangyue Food Company are also within walking distance, so you'll have no trouble finding great food and shopping from morning till night.
The guest rooms are located on the 5th to 7th floors of a multi-purpose building. While the double bed takes up most of the room, making it quite compact, there's a small indoor balcony-like space at the back. It has a compact table and chairs, perfect for eating takeout, and enough room to open your suitcase.

GGuest UserThis is a very convenient location with plenty of food and entertainment options nearby. The young men and women at the front desk were incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and attentive. They helped us plan our itinerary and transportation for our trip to Hualien Yilan, and also shared recommendations for delicious food and fun activities there. The room was also quite neat and clean, overall everything was excellent. Definitely recommend!
