As someone with high standards for accommodation, I’d like to review this hotel across a few dimensions. First, the hardware: being a new hotel, the facilities are very modern and the cleanliness standards are exceptionally high. There was completely no leftover renovation odor, which is remarkably rare. Second, the core experience: the windows are the biggest highlight. The natural lighting and views are fantastic—you can enjoy mountain views right from your bed. Plus, every room has a window, so you won't have any unpleasant surprises. Finally, the sleep quality: Atour's bedding certainly lives up to its reputation. The mattress and pillows offer great support, providing wonderful rest after a tiring day exploring the mountains. Overall, this is a well-rounded and excellent hotel in the North Scenic Area of Changbaishan!

This guesthouse offers excellent value for money. The bedding was clean and comfortable (high quality!), the room was spacious, and the overall environment was lovely and very quiet, with no disturbing noises. The location is incredibly convenient. There was no renovation smell or any other odd odors in the room. It's a truly tranquil spot right in the heart of the bustling area. They provide communal washing machines and tumble dryers, and the shower pressure was fantastic – super refreshing! The layout of the space is well thought out. Breakfast was also a highlight; I honestly expected it to be a bit haphazard, given it's a guesthouse, but it exceeded my expectations. It was well-balanced and complete, with bread, milk, and porridge, allowing everyone to take what they liked.

The owner was very hospitable, and there were always drivers available at the entrance who were ready to answer any questions or help with travel plans. The aunties at the hot springs were also very warm and helped with towels. The indoor bath was cleaned daily, and overall, everything was quite good. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't clean upon check-in, but the front desk attendant came quickly to address it. Overall, it was a good experience, and I recommend it.

Huge thanks to the lovely front desk lady who upgraded my room! One of the staff members was truly amazing, and I really appreciate her efforts and kindness. There's a great 'iron pot stew' restaurant about 200 meters to the left when you exit the hotel – the food was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. The owner even suggested we try ice fishing! However, apart from the excellent service from that one staff member, the hotel's facilities and room amenities were pretty average. I didn't feel it offered great value for money. The pictures are dedicated to that wonderful lady who brightened our stay.

My overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The temperature and humidity inside were just right. The facilities were comprehensive; a soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing and helped ease the fatigue after hiking. The service was meticulous, thoughtful, and prompt. I had a very pleasant stay throughout my trip and would give it five stars. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changbai Mountain. The service was very attentive, and they even gave me a small gift.

Here’This resort hotel was the most satisfying stay of our entire 8-day China trip across Harbin, Changbaishan, Xuexiang, and Yabuli. We stayed in a family residence unit, which allowed all of us to live together comfortably under one household. The resort is extremely clean and well-maintained. Our unit even included a mahjong table and a private hot spring, which made the stay very enjoyable. Although the price is not cheap, it is definitely worth the money. The butler service was excellent — the staff were attentive and always did their best to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended. I’m confident you will have a pleasant and memorable stay here.

If you are traveling during winter, it's a lovely place to stay, it's like a condo rent out of that sort, during the snow season does look like a santa town, a small village with decor surrounded with lights, very christmasy. Big apartment, we booked 2 bedrooms room type, heat, hot water etc all equipped. Cleanliness is great the first day, sloppy afterwards, stains on floors from day 2 til the day we left. We stayed for 5 nights. Service wise still quite good, 阳阳 is very responsive, 5 stars for her. But it's noisy every morning, there were 3 morning straight I got woken up by the noises at like 6am, other guests or staffs loud chats, banging sounds, furnitures moving around etc.... usually from 6-8 am. Breakfast is horrible though 😆 Overall, it's still a good option.

My trip to Changbai Mountain and stay at the Gem International Hotel was fantastic. Located in Gem Town, the hotel boasts a tranquil and peaceful environment, adjacent to the Magic World Scenic Area, making it ideal for those wanting to get up early to check out the Magic World's rime ice. The hotel grounds are very spacious, with rooms that are clean and hygienic, separate bathrooms, and soft bedding. Being away from the town's hustle and bustle ensured a good night's rest. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and there was a huge free parking lot. Since there were many Korean tour groups, the hotel service was excellent. Due to road construction in front of the hotel, staff contacted us in advance to inform us of convenient access methods and even arranged a shuttle service. Everyone at the hotel was warm, attentive, and patient in listening to our needs, ensuring a satisfying stay. A special thank you to the staff who provided the shuttle service! Excellent value for money, highly recommended!

Highly recommend this hotel on the North Slope of Changbai Mountain! It's just a few minutes from the transportation hub, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and warm, with all the amenities you could need. The front desk service was excellent, always patient and helpful with any questions. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted delicious. It's a real gem for a winter trip!

Check-in Dates: December 7th (Check-in) to December 10th (Check-out) Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, they were well-maintained, and the rooms were clean and tidy, making me feel very comfortable. The hotel staff deserves the most praise; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. We had originally planned to visit Changbai Mountain, but the mountain was closed due to weather, disrupting our plans. We are very grateful to the hotel manager, Fang Lin, and our driver, Zhang Ming, for proactively helping us rearrange our itinerary. They recommended and assisted us with activities such as snowmobile rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides, skiing, and ice fishing, ensuring our trip was still exciting and fulfilling. We are from the south and this was our first time in Northeast China, and we had never tried frozen pears before. When Zhang Ming saw this, he specially treated us to frozen pears, making us feel incredibly thoughtful and cared for. Throughout the entire trip, the staff promptly helped resolve any problems we encountered; their service was truly excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel.
