"Stayed from September 1st-3rd with friends. Room: We received an upgrade to a mountain view room, and on clear days, you could see Changbai Mountain. The room was comfortable, and upon entering, there was a pleasant, comforting scent. The butler service was excellent. They communicated with us before check-in, arranged pickup, and proactively checked in after we settled to ensure everything was satisfactory and promptly resolve any issues. Their inquiries weren't just procedural; they genuinely solved problems. Breakfast and Dinner: Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options, easily meeting five-star standards. We left feeling full and satisfied. For dinner, we had the hot pot set for two, which was definitely filling. The restaurant staff were all very warm and friendly. We felt one of the hams in the hot pot set had too much starch and asked to swap it for another dish. Although items in the set couldn't be changed, the manager still offered us a fruit platter as an apology. Environment: The hotel felt very homey and family-friendly. There were small animals for kids to enjoy and a coffee bookstore for business travelers. The attention to detail was impressive. The complimentary bar drink coupon even included a glass of red wine, which my friend said was excellent – an imported Chilean wine. Activities: Although Changbai Mountain canceled the hotel's VIP park access, we could still use the old mountain gate, which was more convenient than the regular tourist entrance. A tip for everyone: pre-booked tickets cannot be used even a second before your scheduled time, so don't arrive too early. We booked a stream trekking activity through the hotel and had a fantastic time, so much so that we missed our return bus. We contacted our butler, and they specially dispatched a private car to pick us up from the scenic area. We had a wonderful time during our two-day stay. All the staff were incredibly friendly. No matter if your request was outside their usual scope of responsibility, they handled it with kindness, actively sought solutions, and did everything they could. My accompanying friend, who has stayed in many high-end hotels both domestically and internationally, was also very impressed. They even said the service was better than some hotels costing ten thousand a day. Upon departure, we were given a small fridge magnet as a souvenir. The service was meticulously attentive. "The room facilities were decent, though the room itself wasn't very big. I received a free upgrade to a room with a bathtub, which I didn't actually use, but it was worth about 200 yuan more. The shower water pressure was very low, and it was too hot, making temperature adjustment difficult. The service, however, was excellent. Responses were prompt and efficient, and the butler was very patient, answering all my questions. The complimentary transfers to the scenic area and high-speed rail station were very convenient. The hot springs were also great, with many pools and a nice environment, and unlimited access. It's less than a five-minute drive from the North Slope entrance of Tianchi, which is incredibly convenient. The only area that could use improvement is breakfast. There wasn't much variety, and it ended at 10 AM; extending it to 10:30 AM would be better. When I went at 9:30 AM, most items weren't being refilled. There was no chicken soup, and very few hot dishes. The tofu pudding was too soft and shapeless, and the braised sauce lacked flavor. There were no desserts like cream cakes or even packaged yogurt. For a hotel of this price and caliber, it was a bit disappointing. This might be due to the hotel's remote location (about a 40-minute drive from Changbaishan Station), making ingredient sourcing difficult. The hotel's bunnies were incredibly cute and would chase you for food. I didn't have time to try the complimentary溯溪 (stream tracing), but I saw other guests wearing the gear, and it looked quite professional. I'd suggest adding more activities like rafting or ginseng digging, as the location is quite remote, and staying for several days could get boring. Overall, I still recommend it!"

"The air is fresh, and the hotel environment is comfortable. The convenient mountain trail makes it feel like the entrance to the Old Mountain Gate is just a few steps from the hotel. A hotel car picked us up after we came down the mountain. Oh, and on the bus from the high-speed rail station back to the hotel, it was just our family – that kind of service was amazing! The real volcanic hot springs were a hit with both kids, especially the fish pond. The butler service was almost perfect; they went out of their way to help me with problems and various requests. We also tried all the experiences the hotel offered. If you don't want to experience the hustle and bustle of the town, are going up to see Tianchi Lake with kids and want to avoid hassle, and your budget allows, I'd say go for it without hesitation."

"Staying at Huansen was a spur-of-the-moment decision while on the train, drawn in by the rustic decor and impressive architecture in the photos. Although the price wasn't low, the guesthouse staff provided excellent service. On our first day, we wanted to try some local food, and a staff member, even before finishing their own meal, offered to drive us there, mentioning potential issues with rain and traffic control on the way down the mountain. We also enjoyed many delicious meals in Enduli. So, we decided to extend our stay for another night. This second night was even more heartwarming. We had originally booked a king-sized room, but on the first night, they upgraded us to a twin room because we had a child with us. For the second night, since all three of us are quite tall and they were concerned we wouldn't fit comfortably on one bed, they even opened up an additional empty room for us. Their thoughtfulness was truly exceptional, and there are just too many details to mention. They drove us to Deer Park, provided disposable raincoats when we went to see Tianchi Lake on the north slope, and constantly checked on the water temperature while we were at the hot springs. If I ever visit again, I would definitely choose Huansen; it truly feels like being treated by friends."

"Located in the Endori leisure area, dining and drinking options are easily accessible. The hotel boasts a strong design aesthetic with an overall Kyoto-inspired style, giving it a tranquil, secluded feel. The rooms are spacious with new facilities, and the balcony offers a great spot for tea while enjoying the evening street view. The hot spring bath with real thermal water is comfortable and clean. Breakfast offers a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, and the light meal vegetables are delicious. The staff members are enthusiastic; one young man helped with luggage from the parking lot and even recommended a restaurant with good value for money. In terms of details, the welcome fruit and mini-bar drinks are of high quality, and the disposable amenities like slippers and toiletries are excellent, especially the slippers. This is a business that truly puts effort into what they do."

"Great proactive service by 小许 and 小于 who helped a lot via WeChat. Arranged free transportation to and from the railway station and to the North Slope Tourist Distribution Centre (I think that's what it's called). They also proactively asked me daily if there was anything that I needed help in and their response was very quick. Very commendable. There is also a deer park within the hotel grounds which was nice. Breakfast was above average. We also ate at the hotel for dinner twice and the food quality was good. Sound proofing of the room was excellent so noise was not an issue. A very good hotel within walking distance to the Chinese Merganser Park."

"Erdaobaihe Town is about 2 kilometers away from the bustling downtown area with many restaurants, making it convenient to get to Enduoli and Yunding Market. Food delivery is also easy to order, with robots delivering right to your door. Mermaid Pine Park is just across the street. The room facilities and decor are quite good, and the hygiene is excellent. The breakfast looks abundant, but in reality, the variety isn't particularly wide, though the taste is decent. A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs. Besides being free for guests, they also welcome external visitors, so there's a fair amount of foot traffic. The hot springs feature indoor pools on the first and second floors. On the third or fourth floor (I can't recall which), there are many saunas and various themed relaxation rooms, including stone, mugwort, and traditional Chinese medicine saunas with different temperatures. The fifth floor has an outdoor swimming pool area. The management is quite mature; the whole process of getting a hand tag, changing shoes, changing clothes, and returning the tag is very smooth and convenient. Visually, the hygiene also seems good. There are several attentive aunties in the changing rooms who actively guide you. There are small spin dryers in the changing rooms, which are handy. If you rinse your swimsuit and use the dryer, it will dry much faster. Overall, the experience was very good. If you choose to stay in Erdaobaihe, this place offers good facilities and hot springs to enjoy."

"Location: It's near Changbaishan Station and offers a shuttle service, but during peak season, three people squeezed into the back row was quite uncomfortable. Room: The room was spacious, and the sofa bed was made up. The split-level setup was relatively comfortable. The hot springs were great. Breakfast variety and taste were just average. The 'Little Explorer' activity turned out to be just hotel staff leading a craft session. There was no public notice or mention at check-in. It was only when I asked at the front desk upon checkout that I was able to get two craft kits."

"An absolutely wonderful stay! This hotel-style B&B is right in the heart of Enduoli, and the location is fantastic. It's surprisingly quiet at night once you close the windows. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and proactive, asking in advance if we needed reservations for the Tianchi distribution center or the high-speed rail, providing excellent and attentive service. There's also a hot spring bath – though not huge, the water quality was great and very clean. Plus, we received welcome desserts and afternoon tea vouchers to enjoy coffee and treats at the nearby cafe. All in all, it's a hotel I would definitely recommend to friends!"

"The hotel is quite large, and I especially loved the rooftop pool and hot springs. It's fantastic for kids. The room itself was also spacious and very quiet. My only minor complaints are that the room felt a bit dated, and the housekeeping started cleaning quite early. The soundproofing isn't great, which could disturb other guests."
