MM58065****這是我這次去東北十天旅遊體驗住過最好的酒店了，還沒到，酒店經理就提前打電話問我們什麼時候到，到了酒店和退房那天，都安排了保安叔叔幫忙提行李那些，真的服務特別周到細緻，環境也很乾凈！！！贊👍住酒店還能免費泡温泉，不然就得花268元一人的門票，送的水果也是我住過的酒店最多品種的，早餐也很豐富，牛肉湯特別好喝，湯鮮肉多，隨便喝幾碗都行，哈哈～温泉真的特別舒服，湯池很多，室內室外都有，也很乾凈。一下水，就有服務員來幫忙把拖鞋擺放好，整的我去另外一個池子泡的時候，都不好意思亂放拖鞋了，嘿嘿！雖然相隔千里，但泡温泉，真的就得去長白山，而且還是要去臨溪火山温泉，吃住玩，温泉酒店裡都有，下次我還要來，並且多住兩晚才行。

This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream:
✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance
✔️ Hot springs inside the compound
✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development
Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴
Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course.
The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building.
In winter.
On ice.
With wind that slaps.
Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up.
To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾
Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc.
The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸
Then there’s the hot spring schedule.

⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly.
Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus.
At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for.
It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs.
Trip.com, if you’re listening:
no guest should ever be pressured to review.
The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative.
This old dog is an independent reviewer.
I don’t bark on command.
I don’t roll over for stars.
And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle.
Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers.

They'll take care of everything for you, but make sure to contact the hotel in advance – and I mean *definitely* in advance. You can ask your butler for recommendations on local attractions, how to get there, how to buy tickets, and even how to hail a taxi. They also offer free train station pick-up and drop-off to the scenic area entrance, free skiing, and free hot spring access. If you need a car temporarily, they can arrange one for you (at your own expense), so no worries at all. And the hot springs – you *must* go! Their hot springs are natural and located right within the scenic area. Soaking in the hot springs while it's snowing is truly wonderful. If you avoid weekends and holidays, it's not even crowded.

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful with all sorts of issues, from arranging transportation to recommending nearby attractions and even local specialty shops. Truly nice! The room's cleanliness and facilities were excellent, perfect for couples or families with 3-4 kids who want to play in the snow. It's also just a 500-600 meter walk to the Shuise Rafting. Highly recommend!

They offer both Chinese and Western breakfast options, and the hot springs are fantastic. It saved us a lot of time and was perfect for families with children. The Northeastern Chinese cuisine at the guesthouse was also delicious, and our whole family was very satisfied. The view from the guesthouse's observation deck was also fantastic, offering panoramic views of Changbai Mountain.

MM234238****Service: I really have to talk about the service; it honestly exceeded all expectations. The concierge, a wonderful lady, was incredibly thoughtful. She arranged transfers, coordinated everything when we had a last-minute time change, brought us afternoon tea, and answered all our questions. The welcome snacks were also very generous. When we mentioned we were worried about dryness at night, she even brought us a humidifier. She also helped us with our luggage when we were rushing for the high-speed train. Our stay was absolutely fantastic!
Facilities: They even have Dyson hairdryers, and the bedding is excellent – I truly had a great night's sleep.
Cleanliness: Five-star quality, truly top-notch luxury.
Environment: It's very close to the performance venue and has a balcony with an absolutely stunning night view.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel offers a free shuttle service from the station, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. They even upgraded our room for free. On our last night, they thoughtfully considered our elderly family members and let us stay in the same room, saving us the hassle of moving – a huge thank you for that! The room was spacious and very clean, and there's an open-air hot spring on the top floor. The hotel's location is excellent; it's convenient for visiting any attraction. Cloud Top Market and Endori are within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, fruit stalls, a pharmacy, and bubble tea shops nearby – it's a bustling and very convenient area. Highly recommended!

The hotel has convenient parking and a large house. Our team building team came from Beijing. The team lived in a villa which was very lively and they could also play mahjong. The Changbai Mountain Hot Spring that comes with your stay is great. You must experience the ice and fire of Changbai Mountain Hot Spring in winter. If you check into the hotel, there will be a car that will take you directly to the Changbai Mountain North Slope Scenic Area Transfer Center. When you come back, the bus will take you back to the door, which is really convenient. The hotel lobby manager and the front desk lady are very warm and thoughtful. Following people's advice to have a full meal, we listened to the hotel's arrangements and were the first to go to Tianchi in the morning, and successfully saw Tianchi. Due to the strong wind, Tianchi was closed, haha! Also, buying skiing and rafting tickets at the hotel is cheaper than online, which is very affordable.
