"Stellenbosch Manor is a beautifully presented property, both inside and out. It is tastefully decorated and situated in a lovely area of Stellenbosch, within easy walking distance of the town centre and numerous restaurants. The breakfast each morning was delicious, with lots of fresh fruit, meats and cereals, as well as hot dishes. Our stay was pleasant, but found it unusual that after 18:00 hrs, there were no staff around, and the staff we did see during the day were not very engaging, so compared to other hotels we had stayed in on our trip, felt it lacked the personal touches that make places special."

"The service and attention to detail were amazing. Rooms seem new. Finishings are all high quality. Multi-plugs provided in the room. Even the bathwash was high quality. They really strive to provide a luxurious experience. We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to be informed upfront that we would have a two-level apartment. Having stairs with kids was a bit inconvenient. If I had known, I would have requested a one level apartment or ground floor apartment. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay. The service was truly exceptional! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you!!"

"I booked a standard room and was unfortunately very disappointed. The assigned room is an interior room, without a window and no view whatsoever. There is only light coming in through a frosted panel in the door, but no view – neither from the room nor the bathroom. The room is approximately 13 square meters and fully equipped for people with disabilities, even though this wasn't included in the booking. Overall, the room has more the feel of a room in assisted living than a hotel room for a holiday. This might be suitable for some guests, but it should be clearly communicated. My urgent advice to future guests: Before booking, be sure to ask for a real window with a view outside, otherwise you could be in for a very unpleasant surprise."
