"We celebrated our wedding at hotel Minichmayr and are 100% happy with the service and everything. We will recommend it to every couple that we meet. Us being an international couple we had guests from all over Europe. From the first encounter the head of restaurant Mr. Rammer spoke to us in English and made sure that what we wished for would be taken care of. The food on the day itself was excellent. The service very charming and professional. We could enjoy the day to the fullest with everything being taken care of. It is very nicely located and easy to get to from the airport or by car. Additionally the view over the Enns and Steyr flowing together was beautiful. From first entering the hotel to leaving it the next day everyone was very friendly, pleasant and easy. Big thank you to everyone at Hotel Minichmayr! We will come back on our anniversaries!"

"I was here for coffee only. It is the only place you can actually go as far as we could make out. There was a closed museum, a closed shop and something akin to a garden shed in the hotel entrance which was apparently the magical Christkindl post office. Anyhow, we wanted to send a Christkindl postcard to a friend's son, so I bought the overpriced thing in the mini hotel gift shop. My Mum wanted to buy a couple of cards too (I got there a few minutes earlier) and she had to wait for ages for someone to take her money. I asked the owner's son and he said we would have to wait for his Mum to turn up. If it hadn't been the only option, we would have gone. After a few minutes, the owner turned up and we went to drink coffee there and write our cards (which didn't turn up anyway, so we could have saved ourselves this whole ridiculous performance). We waited and waited and the owner's son looked at us and let us sit there. Then a woman came in and he leapt up to serve her. The only good thing about the place was the waiter - Manuel. He was very friendly and was the one smile we saw at that place that day."

"We stayed in Hotel for, four weeks in June, could not have been a nicer hotel experience. Nice location, very clean, quiet, modern, and tastefully decorated. The traditional breakfast meal was always fresh and had good variety of bead, meat, cheese, and fresh fruit. Restaurant meals were always hot and quality menu items. We especially enjoyed the Wednesday evening grilling on their large patio area. The staff and owners were friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Styer."

"Location was on the edge of town - an easy short walk. Parking was available across the road from the hotel. Room had large separate seating area and a shared balcony space. Basic toiletries were also provided in the bathroom which was a nice touch. Room was clean and tidy. Getting key out of key locker was simple, instructions were clear. Easy check out in the morning. Disliked · The weather had been particularly hot that day as Austria was having a small heatwave and no accommodations had been made to ensure the room was cool. The curtains were wide open letting the hot sun in and there was no water or fan in the room meaning it was incredibly stuffy and sweaty. In fact ourselves and other guests resorted to leaving the main room doors open until late to try and get some cool air into the room (other hotels we had stayed at had done things like kept curtains closed, provided a fan, put fresh water in the room etc). There was no fridge in the room either."
