"This was such a pleasant stay!!! We were visiting from New Jersey for Labor Day 2023. The Inn Keeper, Diane was a darling...a welcoming, kind, interesting, resourceful lady, and she really sold us on the town and activities, even telling us about a John Legend concert at Tanglewood that became the icing on our trip. Her breakfast was delish, filling and well rounded(great fruit and greek omelette). The inn is in great condition and the decor sparked nostalgia and that initial excitement that let's you know you're going to have a good trip(loved the bath soap and saved one to bring home...lol). Good pricing/a good choice. "

"There are many things to love about this Inn but unfortunately we had a negative experience. Our Housekeeper removed four personal items from our room the day before we checked out and three of the items were found in the kitchen after asking someone working there to go look for them. When we told the owner he became defensive and said we weren’t supposed to have wine glasses in our room. We brought a bottle of wine to share outside the Inn with family with which we were celebrating a Happy occasion. The owner claimed we signed a waiver which he was supposed to show us and as of today has never been produced. All we wanted was a decent apology for removing our items."
