"During the National Day holiday, we drove 20 hours from Jiangsu to Taoyuan Rice Terraces in Suichuan. 1. Booking the shuttle bus 10 minutes in advance was useless; the buses were always full, and waiting for three or four buses was normal (we encountered this situation). This is understandable. 2. On the first night, we were tired when we arrived at the hotel and ordered a set meal. The food was terrible, but our group of seven just laughed it off. We understand; they might compromise on food during holidays. The next day, none of our three families were interested in the hotel breakfast, so we drove straight to town and ate all three meals there. We only returned to our tented rooms in Taoyuan after dinner. 3. In tent room number 17, the toilet smelled very strong as soon as I went in. I flushed several times, but it didn't help, so I sprayed some perfume on it. I understood the situation, and I mentioned it to the cleaning lady the next day. She said she would fix it, but the room was still the same when I returned that night, so I tolerated it. 4. After staying in three tented rooms for two days, we needed to get going, so we decided to pack some eggs and bread for breakfast. It wouldn't be reasonable to go to town to buy breakfast again. We had eight breakfast vouchers, enough for eight people, so I only wanted some eggs and bread. The front desk said they couldn't pack eight portions, then said they didn't support packing, then said it was past 9 am, and then said there were guests eating breakfast upstairs. I couldn't take it anymore, so I checked out before 9 am, and waited for the bus but it was late. We carried our luggage directly from the mountain to the reception desk halfway up. After waiting about 20 minutes at the reception desk, three buses came up the mountain and one came down. Finally, we got on a bus and arrived at the breakfast area. The reception staff repeatedly refused to let us pack our breakfast, which was incomprehensible. They kept telling us to talk to their manager. We were on our way early in the morning, and they wanted to talk to a manager? I think the hotel's staff training is really absurd; they lack basic service awareness. I don't want to talk to a manager. I'm here for a holiday, and it's normal to have some unpleasant experiences, but a receptionist who treats guests like royalty needs to be dealt with properly. I don't need an apology; I just want to recount this experience. The promotion of Suichuan's tourism is also inaccurate. I'm very disappointed! Beautiful mountains and rivers need good facilities and good service to thrive! Even more important is a sincere heart to treat guests!
