AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Sawgrass Mills/Sunrise ★★★★

"The hotel's location is unbeatable; it's right next to the outlet mall entrance, and just a short walk to the shops. It's perfect for a stopover during a long road trip, allowing you to shop and rest up without hassle. When you're tired of browsing, you can just pop back to your room for a break, saving you the trek back and forth. It really maximizes your travel efficiency!"

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sawgrass ★★

"The hotel is very run-down and not well maintained, with an overall old motel-style feel. The room showed several issues, including a door that did not close properly, very old carpeting, a loosely fixed toilet, heavy dust, stained sheets, and visible rust. Cleanliness was a concern, and I would not recommend this property for families or solo female travelers. There appeared to be limited staffing on site, which at times felt uncomfortable despite the presence of security cameras. The staff, however, were the only saving grace. They were genuinely kind, helpful, and clearly doing their best within the limitations of the facility. Breakfast options were extremely limited, consisting mainly of pre-made microwave eggs, a waffle station, and basic breads and bagels. If you are staying one night solely to shop at Sawgrass and need an inexpensive option, this hotel may be acceptable. However, if you are looking to relax or enjoy the hotel itself, this would not be a suitable choice. The pricing is competitive for the area, so it may work for a short, no-frills stay, but expectations should be kept low."
