"Clamping was our first trying.  Camp site outlook is quite nice but quite concerned about the toilet, during the night time we need to go outside camp place (very dark at night) to go toilet.  It would not be convenient and got terrible feeling.  Shower needed to take before 9pm and did in Onsen.  Not really convenient too.  Food for BBQ only sausage and beef, no other choices, vegetables are much better.  Anyway, my wife doesn’t eat beef and she doesn’t have any meat to eat."

"Although it is labeled as suitable for families, the facilities are not suitable for those with babies or small children, and the staff were not considerate. As others have written, it was high season and the prices were quite high, so the service, food, and staff were disappointing. There were times when the staff were friendly, but when they were busy, they suddenly became unfriendly. I understand that there are some difficult aspects to running a privately run pension, but I don't think it's right to take that out on the guests."

"A very nice hotel situated in a quiet town called Susono, which is at the southside of the base of Mount Fuji. As soon as I stepped into the hotel, I felt very welcome. The service is incredible, and the hotel staff are so friendly and polite. Even though they are not fluent in English, they tried hard to help me by using Google Translate. The Onsen at the hotel was charming and quiet. The room has a tatami bed and it is so peaceful and quiet. The dinner and breakfast provided are authentic and delicious traditional Japanese meals that are not familiar to me, but I enjoyed them very much."

"I stayed in a non-smoking room for two nights. Although my room was an older one, I was bitten by mites both days in a row. My travel companion stayed in a smoking room (a newer room) and was not bitten by mites. Please disinfect the beds."
