"The hotel was amazing and you only had to cross one street to be directly at the beach’s entrance. The breakfast selection was a bit lacking (think cereal, oatmeal, and muffins) but was sufficient enough to fuel the day. The floor of my room was very grainy with sand but that’s to be expected as a beach hotel. Housekeeping was excellent about providing requested sheets, towels and toilet paper in a timely manner. One inconvenience that feels worth mentioning is that their was only one easily accessible plug close to appliances so we could not have the fridge, microwave and tv plugged in at once, however this was not a problem in other trip-goers rooms so perhaps this is just a single room problem. There are a few of outdoor seating spaces that provided a great relaxation spot. The photos below are some of the photos taken of the view from the hotels staircase. The pool was a great escape and a great place to bring kids when the beach is not possible. This hotel was also extremely understanding and accommodating for a child with limited movement ability. If you are not looking for anything too fancy but a decent place to stay while in Gulf Shores, this is definitely a spot that I would recommend."

Great
GGuest UserThis was an amazing stay for myself and family!!! I absolutely loved everything about our stay. The suite with the bunk beds was perfect for me and the children. We played board games that we brought with us along with the games that came along with the suite. Very spacious for our group. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely bring my family back. Thank you for making our first group spring break vacation a complete success!!!
GGuest UserAll in all, was very satisfied with all amenities and pleasantly surprised by the weather which looked foreboding at times but cleared out. The only negative was the parking which is in a remote location and I believe charged daily for use, oh well, can't have it all. The beach, pool, pier and food made it worth it. Will visit again.
GGuest UserUpon arrival waited 10 minutes for clerk to appear. Didn't even apologize for delay. No one else in lobby. Checked in and then I was to be charged $10 for indulgence fee? and if nothing charged would credit back to charge card. Told her I didn't want to but clerk with silver short hair with pink *****e said it was required. If not used it would be credited back upon check out. The next morning asked same lady about funds being added back she couldn't do it but would notify my credit card department. At this moment a day later still no charge added back. Is this some standard policy? Or was this a way to have customers purchase unwanted snacks or goodies from your snack area?
GGuest UserChecking in was a great experience, and the room was very nice, meeting all our needs. However, the swimming pool and hot tub were not ready; they had chlorine mixing and bugs in them.
The staff was wonderful and very personable throughout the entire stay. Breakfast was a perfect 10 out of 10! The staff member working the breakfast on July 1st truly excelled. She greeted every customer as they entered, making them feel welcome. She was helpful when needed and ensured that the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. She even made more fresh and hot as they emptied.
GGuest UserGreat location, friendly people, great breakfast, good stuff in the gym although it’s very tight for more than one person at a time, and my only real complaint is that the rugs and rooms haven’t been changed since 1972. Some type of green and brown swirl pattern that took us back in time 50 years. Time for a remodel, and then this place would be banging!!!
GGuest UserThe hotel is nice it’s a Hilton after all but when we got settled into the room we noticed there was bits of a styrofoam takeout container on the floor in the living room and the bed was poorly made; it looked thrown together. Then when we went to shower, there was hair stuck to the back wall of the shower that housekeeping had neglected to get off. I mentioned these things to the lady at the front desk when checking out and she seemed uninterested of this so.
JJINGThe hotel is right next to the beach and has free parking. There is a refrigerator and utensils in the room to cook. Ctrip booked very quickly, but the hotel front desk said that they did not receive the money, and recorded my credit card again. I don't know if I will deduct the money.
GGuest UserThe place really needs to be gutted and rebuilt!! The tub corners were really filthy!! It was like baked in dirt!! Looks like they may need a chisel to remove the dirt stuck to the tub corners!! Thank goodness I always bring my own shower flip flops !! They didn’t even have bath towels just hand towels and one of the wash cloths was not even white anymore ( that really should have been trashed!! ) Thank goodness I also bring my own towels ! The carpet was so stained the room smells horrible!! The elevator was so dirty and dingy!!
And to think they charged me $225 for the night !! It’s good I was just passing through and it was a last minute trip and I didn’t have to stay but less than 12 hours!! I would never go back to that hotel again and unfortunately they make all other hotels that carry the same name look bad!!
GGuest UserIt was a nice little weekend get-away. The breakfast bar was non-existent!!! Thank goodness for all the other near by restaurants. The pool was too small and no shade.
