Travelodge York Tadcaster

"We have been staying at York Tadcaster for 25 years on visits to York and love the location, but especially the friendly helpful staff. On this occasion there was a small technical issue with the room but Ashley (who seemed to be on shift for the entirety of our 2 night shift) was exceptional with customer care and found us a different room in less than 5 minutes and was just amazing the whole of our stay. It is staff like her which are the reason we use travelodge. Look after Ashley, you have an amazing ambassador for Travelodge in her! Lovely clean rooms and comfortable beds set us up perfectly for onward travels."

Hazlewood Castle & Spa

"The surrounding environment is great, and the air quality is excellent. The view is expansive; it's a nice resort hotel, perfect for relaxation. However, the room amenities are somewhat lacking. Our first night's room was a cornflower-themed one, and the shower water was too cold to shower properly. The hotel windows are drafty and not very warm. The carpet is rather old."
