"The Wine Vine has recently been taken over and renovated, previously it may have been known as the Barossa Hotel. There are 40 rooms and it is situated neatly along with everything else on Murray Street in Tanunda. Slightly concealed below the large bench in the Reception area was Prahb, the General Manager; she was very welcoming and open to feedback. The room itself was large, fairly standard but had most things you need for a short stay. We found it to be clean and quite comfortable. The bed was a little firm for my liking, and the pillows were thin - it may pay to bring your own if you are particular about this. The shower room was probably double the size of a 'generous' alcove. This room needed some painting finished, a ceiling fan and some more hooks or shelves installed. I booked our stay through a travel website and obtained a fantastic deal; we definitely felt we got good value for money. I'd recommend this as a nice little place to stay and an easy place to tour some of the many things the Barossa Valley has to offer."

"The Weintal is a clean, neat and tidy hotel that delivers what it promises. The location was convenient and central to the wineries and local attractions. The staff in the bar, restaurant and kitchen were outstanding! Such gracious and hospitable hosts that enhanced our overall impression of the venue. There was a stale water smell in the room but nothing terribly unbearable. I’d definitely recommend The Weintal and look forward to returning in the future."

"It's not like your usual experience, there is no reception to collect key. The hotel is in the main street, need to go into the bar to collect key and then drive short distance to motel rooms. There are 5 rooms in a row, very quiet lovely location. Our room was great, bed comfortable, air con was on when we arrived, so room was fresh and not stuffy. Plenty of towels, extra blankets if required. All the standard motel accessories. No microwave, but not required. So close to many cafes and eateries. Eveything in walking distance. Easily recommended for 1-2 nights stay. We will definatley be back"

"This is a nice place for families with small children. We stayed at a small budget cabin, which was good but not great. But there are plenty of larger cabins that look very nice."

"A wealthy family's house in a paradise! The yard is super big! Super beautiful! Morning and night are not enough to capture its beauty! Jerry's service is super good! The reservation was made through Ctrip, so Jerry couldn't find my phone number. Ctrip helped me get in touch and he contacted me! Parking is available in the yard! It is very convenient to have a password to enter and exit! Jerry helped upgrade the honeymoon room, which was originally booked as a Loft. We also prepared champagne, snacks, cheese and more! Very attentive! It is recommended to give it a try! A great value-for-money paradise with a beautiful yard! There is also a swimming pool!"
