"My first time at Taira, coming from Saga. They offer pre-arranged pick-up service. The owner was very welcoming; seeing I was from Shanghai, she even mentioned she'd been to Yu Garden! The only downside was the Takezaki crab 🦀 wasn't as fresh as I expected, and at 4000 yen, it was a bit overpriced. However, the self-service orange juice at breakfast was truly delicious! If you like sake, it's pretty good. While eating, I even thought it might be a bar! The massage chairs in the lounge area were very high-end, a welcome relief from the fatigue of the Yutoku Inari Festival. The sunrise view from the sea-view room was great, but unfortunately, I overslept and missed it!"

"It was old, which I had anticipated, especially given the area is full of traditional inns and the name itself hints at its long history. My primary reason for coming here was to try the Takezaki crab, so booking a package with breakfast and dinner is a must. If the crab isn't your main draw, you might want to look elsewhere. The room was indeed spacious, but unfortunately, we encountered quite a few cockroaches – we probably dealt with 4 or 5, which wasn't a pleasant experience. The location is a bit remote, accessible only via many small lanes. I'd advise against venturing out at night as the paths are very narrow. The dinner set offered plenty of food. While the official website lists more expensive options, booking through other major travel sites usually means a single, predetermined set menu. Still, it was very filling and generally acceptable, though I'm not sure which official set it corresponded to. I tried the crab, and honestly, I found it quite ordinary. The meat was fresh, but both the crab and fish were rather salty. Despite seeing many glowing reviews on YouTube, sometimes you just have to experience it for yourself. After all, when traveling, I always try to sample everything!"

"Since it was a weekday, there were fewer guests and the environment was very quiet. The hotel windows faced the sea, so you could watch the sunrise in the morning. The large hot spring bath was underground, and the open-air bath faced the beautiful sea, which was simply unbeatable."

"We came as a family of four. The best memory of this trip for our 6-year-old and 4-year-old was the kids' room at Kaijokan... It was a spacious and fun-looking room. The parents chatted while watching their children play after taking a bath. I wish there was coffee. The room was renovated, so it was clean, universal design, and had a hammock, so it was very comfortable. The crab was delicious, and they wrapped up the part we couldn't finish. It's true that the waitress seemed to be concerned about the time we would return, but everyone has their own lives, so it's the same for everyone. That said, I was surprised when I saw the price. I wonder if we paid that much? I don't remember, but it's not a "so-called high-class inn." It was perfect for a family. I lived in Nagasaki for 7 years, but I never knew there was such a wonderful place in Saga. It was a fun fishing port to take a walk in. On the way back, we turned a potter's wheel nearby and then moved on to the next place."

"I visited Saga to take photos of the Taikyo Jinja No Kai Chuutori Shrine, and while searching for the cheapest place nearby, I ended up here. As soon as I arrived at the accommodation, the owner greeted me warmly and kindly, saying, "This is my first time having Korean guests." "It's a long distance from here to Taracho, so my daughter will drive me there." My daughter, Amy, was also very kind, offering to pick me up if I called her, as the bus might be out late at night taking photos. I was deeply touched by her kindness. The room I was assigned was spacious and clean, perfect for solo or couples. The breathtaking harbor view from the window was particularly charming and pleasant. There were two bathhouses: a cave bath on the first floor and a large public bath on the second. The cave bath on the first floor had a particularly pleasant atmosphere. The sound of water dripping from the ceiling and the echoes of the cave created a magical atmosphere. The villagers were also friendly and greeted me first when they made eye contact, making it a fun way to chat with people while traveling. It felt like a place. I'd love to share this feeling with others, so if I have time with friends or family, I'd love to stay here again."

"Meiqi Pavilion Hot Spring Hotel is located near the Takezaki City View Observatory in Tailiang-ku, Saga Prefecture. It is remote and offshore, suitable for self-driving travelers. The hotel has two floors and has 10 rooms. The hostess is very kind and friendly. This time I stayed in a sea view and western-style room with a bathroom. The room was about 18 square meters and was very clean. There was a double bed. Guests who were not used to tatami could take a backrest chair in the corridor and sit in the room. If you love to eat bamboo crabs, staying at this hot spring hotel is definitely the best choice. There are two steamed bamboo crabs per person for dinner. The crab is very large and has a lot of crab paste. The meat is very sweet, the fried soft shell crab is crispy, the crab porridge is delicious, the sashimi is fresh and refreshing, and there are roasted conch, steamed custard and other side dishes, which are very rich. Breakfast has grilled salmon, fresh eggs with rice, ham, tofu, crab flavor... The food is also delicious; the only downside is that the breakfast style for two consecutive days is the same, if you change the style the next day, you will be more pleasant. There is no private style in the room, but there is a family style for rent, and only 1,000 yen is charged for an hour. Since we only had three rooms on the day of our stay, there were no other guests in the big bath. It can be said that it was a private bath. I had a great time with my family. I am satisfied to eat delicious bamboo crabs at Meizaki Pavilion Hot Spring Hotel. I can relax in the hot springs and I will stay again if I come to Saga in the future."

"You can enjoy the starry night sky and watch the sunrise from your room. Dinner was good, with a focus on crab and seafood, and there was a wide variety of drink options. However, overall, the value for money isn't great."
