"Pros:
- super good location: the hotel is located near the Tasch station like 1-min walk and can go to Zermatt just 20 mins by train (only 1 stop). Super easy for transporting
- the room is clean and big
- the aminities are provided (except the toothpaste and toothbrush). There also have a shower gel but I’m not sure if it’s can be shampoo
- good breakfast
- have Coop at the opposite the hotel (~3-min walk)
Cons:
- Small bathroom with a sloped ceiling, so you have to bend while showering.
- Surprising with an elevator, you have to open the door by yourself and it has no barrier between you and the elevator shaft, you can feel the walls sliding past as it moves."

"The room was very clean. It's located directly opposite Tasch train station, and it's only about a 10-minute ride to Zermatt train station. There's a Coop supermarket nearby, which is very convenient for groceries. The hotel's breakfast buffet was good, and you could see the Alps right from your window seat."

"Myself and wife (both Singaporean) celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary and just wrapped up a 15-day self drive vacation to Switzerland and Austria.
Our 7th stop 2 nights stay in Walliserhof Hotel: warm and smiling reception, to spacious/clean well laid-out room with balcony/good breakfast especially pastries/amazing views/3mins walk to Matterhorn Terminal Tasch, clean and cool air ..... no words can describe our immense joy and amazements.
Strongly recommend Walliserhof Hotel for anyone looking to stay close to Zermatt with peace and manageable cost. Thank you once again entire staff at Walliserhof Hotel .... till we meet again :)"

"🏔️ Exceptional Stay at Hotel Porta Cervino!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Porta Cervino and it was truly an exceptional experience.
The location is super convenient, making it incredibly easy to explore. A huge bonus for skiers and hikers is how accessible it is, it's just one station away from Zermatt! This makes it the perfect base for enjoying the region.
The facilities are literally brand new and stunning. The whole hotel feels fresh, modern, and very comfortable, maintained to the highest standard.
To top it all off, the view is simply amazing. Waking up to such a beautiful panorama was a highlight of my trip and made every moment spent at the hotel feel like a true getaway.
I highly recommend Hotel Porta Cervino to anyone looking for a stylish, perfectly located, and comfortable stay with a breathtaking vista and unparalleled access to Zermatt. I can't wait to return!"

"Write it carefully for the convenience of friends who come later. Tasch is the town closest to Zermatt and is our first stop in Switzerland. We changed our minds temporarily and drove to Tasch at night. The town is not big, there are not many choices, and it feels not cheap. This hotel has the best value for money. I was quite nervous when I booked it, but it is actually quite good. The room is not big but not small. There is a bathtub and the bathroom is also OK. It is very warm and comfortable. The breakfast is similar to that of a four-star hotel in Italy. It has everything you need (although it has everything, I really want to eat fried dough sticks). Water is provided in the house, and there is a kettle downstairs. In short, I think the value for money is very good, and the scenery of the town is very good. The price is cheaper than Zermatt. It is very close to the station. Many people stay here and take the train to Zermatt to ski, because the train is also very convenient! The photo is next to the hotel, very beautiful"

"This hotel is right next to Tasch Station. Although the city is just 12 minutes away by train from Zermatt, the price of hotels is more reasonable. This hotel is clean and tidy. The front desk staff is nice and friendly. The room is of reasonable size. Breakfast is very good and delicious."

Supermarket 1 km, restaurant 1 km, bakery 1 km, café 1 km, bicycle rental 1 km, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Bahnhof St.Niklaus" 13 km, railway station "Bahnhof Täsch" 1 km. Golf course (9 hole) 1 km, tennis 1.2 km, cross country ski track 100 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Schalisee 700 m. Please note: main road 100 m from the property. "Lätthaus Rot", 3-room house 75 m2 on 2 levels. Simple and comfortable furnishings: living/dining room with Scandinavian wood stove, dining table, digital TV, electric heating and boiler. Exit to the garden, to the terrace. Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Sep. WC. Electric heating. Upper floor: (spiral staircase), 1 double bedroom with 1 double bed (180 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 bed (90 cm, length 200 cm). Shower/WC. Natural stone floors. Terrace furniture, barbecue, deck chairs. View of the countryside. Facilities: washing machine. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking at the house, in winter at 100 m. Please note: non-smoking house.
