"I stayed at the Diego de Almagro Express Hotel in Temuco, and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It's advertised as a 4-star hotel with a restaurant and parking, but upon arrival, there were no parking spaces left, and no solutions were offered. The room left a lot to be desired: the sink was clogged, the hairdryer didn't work, and the shower water was barely warm. When I tried to dine in the restaurant, they only offered a single menu for $27, which also had poor reviews from other guests. The worst of all was breakfast. The restaurant was completely overwhelmed, with only two people serving and cleaning. There was no coffee or hot milk, cutlery and plates were missing, and guests had to clear their own tables to be able to sit down. People were eating standing up, trying to salvage what little was left. The hygiene of the place was deplorable. Definitely a horrible experience. I do not recommend it at all."

"One night at this lovely hotel in April of this year-2025-and it was very enjoyable...Check-in was handled speedily and my room was large and very clean...Breakfast was excellent and was included in the price...Sleep quality was perfect...The staff really made my stay enjoyable and I want to thank Mauricio,Roberto and Eduardo...They were friendly and helpful and always available to assist-even to the point of booking a taxi for me on the morning I was leaving...Worth returning to...Top marks....10 out of 10."

"Poor cleanliness and maintenance on tables and restaurant floor, little variety in the buffets, and medium quality. Room service limited in hours and without anything to warn you about it. Heated pool with almost freezing water, lack of bathrobes in the room. For those looking for 5 stars, a good spa and the possibility of food at any time, I do not recommend it. Nor to those who have had good experiences in the Dreams chain in other hotels previously. Temuco is inferior to the rest"

"Everything was spectacular and the service was generally excellent. Spectacular location, and needless to say, the breakfast was WONDERFUL. I hope to return to the Frontera Hotel again and have fond memories of my childhood there with my parents in the 1960s."
