"Having traveled frequently and stayed in many hotels and guesthouses, I'm quite picky about hotel layouts and decor. My initial goal was to find a hotel with its own hot spring so I could enjoy Tengchong's hot springs without having to go elsewhere for a private soak. Secondly, this guesthouse's decor, layout, and location were exactly what I wanted. Situated halfway up a mountain, it was very quiet and private. Soaking in the hot spring amidst the sounds of insects was incredibly relaxing. The air was also very fresh, and on rainy days you could see the morning mist, while on sunny days you could witness a stunning sunset – a truly wonderful experience. It's also worth mentioning the owner's exceptional service. From welcoming us to seeing us off, their attentiveness made us feel right at home. We stayed two nights here and had a fantastic experience. I'll definitely come back next time and highly recommend it!"

Tengchong is surrounded by mountains on all sides, and the floor-to-ceiling windows of the hotel offer a picturesque view, like a traditional Chinese landscape painting. The design blends Eastern Zen aesthetics with modern simplicity, creating a tranquil and stylish atmosphere that makes you instantly forget the hustle and bustle of city life. The front desk staff provided delightful service with warm smiles, making us feel right at home. We received a welcome fruit platter upon check-in, and the service throughout our stay was attentive and polite without being intrusive. The housekeeping staff meticulously cleaned our room every day. Any requests made to the front desk were promptly addressed. As for the hot spring experience, our room was conveniently located next to an outdoor hot spring pool. The water quality is genuine hot spring water! After a soak, our skin felt incredibly smooth, and we experienced a significant sense of relaxation. The public hot spring area offers various functional pools, all clean with well-managed crowd control, ensuring good privacy. This was definitely the most worthwhile part of our trip – enjoying a warm spring bath under the starry sky. The breakfast quality was decent, served semi-buffet style, with a rich selection of both Chinese and Western options, as well as local specialties like Yunnan rice noodles, providing a great start to the day. The room itself was spacious and elegantly designed. The bedding was super soft and comfortable, ensuring a dreamless night's sleep until morning. Most importantly, the soundproofing was excellent, guaranteeing absolute quiet."

"I chose a standard room, but actually, the loft on the top floor is even more beautiful, with an unbeatable panoramic view where you can enjoy the sunset while soaking in the outdoor hot spring and sipping on a pour-over coffee. From the owner to the staff, everyone was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to help solve problems. The airport shuttle service was excellent, and they even helped with our luggage, which was a great relief given how difficult the ancient town's roads are to navigate. The room itself was very spacious and quiet, and the oversized bathroom was a real treat, featuring a double vanity and a smart toilet. All the facilities were top-notch! The room came with complimentary fruit and snacks, meeting all our needs. Breakfast was homemade by the aunties every morning, served in bento boxes with different nutritious and delicious options daily. And the pour-over coffee was both visually appealing and tasty!"

"This guesthouse is truly thoughtful. We had such a great time exploring the old town that we decided to stay another night before leaving, looking for a place with a nice atmosphere, and that's how we found this one. The location is right at the entrance of the old town, no hills to climb, making it super convenient for coming and going. The courtyard is elegant and features a public garden, a fireplace, a tea table, and even a desk for calligraphy practice. In the front hall, there are also qipaos available for guests to try on and take photos. We also enjoyed a hand-drip coffee, and the coffee shop itself was very relaxing. Since we had to leave early the next day and would miss breakfast, I mentioned it to the owner. To our surprise, we immediately received a generous assortment of snacks, including milk, bread, and even fruit. We are truly grateful! 😊"

"The pick up service was-very good. The driver Xiao Mao was very friendly to give me a lot of information about the city on the way to the hotel. All the staffs at the front desk were very helpful too.I liked very much the breakfast but it was a-pity that the hotel did not serve dinner.lt caused me problem to search restaurant for food especially during raining nights. As the road in front the hotel was under construction, it made me to walk in the muddy path. I loved and appreciated the good services provided by the hotel, and the sweet fungi soup served at about 8:30pm every night was really enjoyable. As l am 80 years old now, l may not have chance to visit again but l will surely recommend the hotel to my friends if they come to Tengchong next time."

"Stayed for two days during the May Day holiday and was extremely satisfied. If it hadn't been fully booked for the 2nd, I definitely would have stayed for three days! The environment is fantastic, giving off a strong resort vibe, and the service is superb. The staff at the hot springs and by the pool were very responsible, always keeping an eye on the children. Breakfast offered many local specialties. All in all, 100 points! It's a hotel I'll definitely visit again; staying for a week and just relaxing would be incredibly comfortable!"

"[Super five-star recommendation! The perfect station in Heshun Ancient Town] This stay at Heshun Yushe Panjing Inn is really a small luck on the trip! The owner's sister and brother are as kind as family. Not only did they help us plan the parking space in advance, but also prepared a super practical play map according to local characteristics. The recommended copper yak beef has been endless aftertaste. The 180° panoramic room is bright and spacious, the log furniture and the national style soft decoration complement each other, and the bedding is soft enough to make people fall asleep in seconds. The most pleasant surprise is the freshly cooked bait silk for breakfast, which perfectly opens up a day of vitality! The location of the inn is a gold C, a 3-minute walk to the century-old food street, and the corner is the net red restaurant, but it magically avoids the noise. The parking lot is too friendly to the self-driving people! Must like the super cost-effective, the hardware and services are impeccable at the same price. Such a warm and professional inn is worth seeing by more people! I hope every friend who comes to Heshun can meet this beautiful ～"

"The experience of staying this time far exceeded expectations ～ The scenery is beautiful, the young lady is super good, I learned that we didn't eat the goose oil fried rice, and there was a housekeeper to pick up and drop off at the micro-choice. The breakfast was very rich and tasted good. The pickles made by the aunt were super delicious! The hot spring water is also a sulfur spring, and the mattress is also electric and very comfortable. "The luckiest thing about my trip to Tengchong was choosing Poyun. First off, hats off to the owner. They personally picked me up and dropped me off, and we had a great chat on the way. They recommended local eats and a touring route for the ancient town, showing such warmth and thoughtfulness. The guesthouse's location is absolutely fantastic: as soon as you walk in, the scenic platform instantly sweeps away any travel fatigue. The entire Heshun Ancient Town unfolds before your eyes, with layers of rooftops and distant green mountains, like an open scroll painting. Sitting there watching the sunset in the evening, with not a care in the world, just made the whole trip feel incredibly worthwhile. I booked a room with a private hot spring balcony, and the hot spring water was specially transported in an insulated container. Soaking in the warm spring under the starry sky at night was incredibly relaxing; no matter how much walking I did during the day, I didn't feel tired. And I have to mention their breakfast! It's a buffet with traditional dishes like Ersi, rice noodles, and Xidoufen! It filled me up, saving me the time of going to the morning market. If I ever come back to Tengchong, this place will definitely be my top choice."

"This hotel is nestled within a hot spring village, offering a beautiful environment that truly makes you feel close to nature. Tengchong isn't a very large area, so travel time from the hotel to various scenic spots won't exceed 30 minutes. The private hot spring is set in a charming little courtyard, creating a wonderful ambiance. The afternoon tea included in our room package required a reservation in advance, as they prepare a limited number of sets daily. If our schedule was tight and we missed the afternoon tea time, they were happy to deliver it to our room, which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall, the service maintained the Banyan Tree standard. My only surprise was the lack of Christmas atmosphere in Tengchong; even a major international brand like Banyan Tree had no Christmas decorations or elements during the holiday season."
