"Every praise is deserved. A comfortable, clean, well located and fairly priced hotel with a super friendly staff and a restaurant offering delicious food. The person in charge even took us in his own car for a tour in town and did everything to make us feel welcome, though we had only booked for one night. I will definitely want to go back."

"We loved our stay at El Refucto ! The hotel was tastefully decorated with lots of plants and artistic touches - a great escape from the busy streets of Tétouan. The team is exceptional, excellent customer service and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an upscale stay in Tétouan . 5 out of 5 stars! We stayed in three rooms as travelled with my friends so got to see a variety of the rooms and each had its own character and charm. I hope to return to Tétouan one day, and I would without a doubt stay at El Reducto."

"Good tourist class hotel. Large room with stone floor (more on that later). Large bed with good pillows. Room has fridge and a kettle. Good natural light and a small balcony. Internet easily accessible and fast. The bathroom is large and includes a bidet. The shower is over a bath, which would make accessibility a challenge for those with mobility issues. Three things let this hotel down. The stone floors were noisy. Footsteps, loud voices and furniture being moved from other rooms could be heard. The heater/cooling wasn’t very effective and the breakfast was disappointing. The hotel is next to a depot site that is a bit noisy when they start work in the morning."

"I booked Riad Aziman feeling rather lonely and down in the dumps. I'd been alone in Morocco for a month and staying in 'adequate' accommodation and needed a treat and pick me up. Riad Aziman and the wonderful staff did that and SO much more. Riad's can be old and character filled (but a bit tired) or too modern and lose their charm but Riad Aziman had the perfect fusion of genuinely beautiful Moroccan style like something out of a travel magazine, updated just enough with everything that a modern visitor could want. Luxury beds, sheets, towels, robes. The room smelt beautiful and an adobe bathroom and rainfall shower with brass fixtures and basin. Excellent wifi. The roof was incredible with beautiful views, with beautiful outdoor settings, a sheltered part with lounge and a hot tub and sauna alas I didn't have time to use. The location is perfect for those who want to be in the heart of things. In the centre of the medina yet when you step through the door it's serene and peaceful! The best thing for me though was the beautiful hosts, as I said, I was feeling a bit glum but I was made to feel so at home, lots of advice, friendly and personally showed me to different restaurant options. It was the famous wonderful Moroccan kindness and hospitality at it's best and I was very sorry to only be able to stay one night but I left completely refreshed and revived for the rest of my trip and plan to return! Thank you SO much!"

"The friendliness of the entire staff was excellent, including reception, the doorman, and the housekeepers. I'm giving the service an average rating, referring only to the type of breakfast. On the Trip.com website, the hotel offers a buffet breakfast. It wasn't a buffet. It was a breakfast served on a tray. It had very good quality products, but it wasn't buffet-style at all. Which I really disliked. I'll consider staying here again, as I travel to Morocco quite often. The staff provided exquisite and very positive service."

First of all, every member of their service staff is very enthusiastic and polite. The room was also very clean and tidy. Their service is also very user-friendly (note that the cribs they provide seem to be of good quality and clean). Their breakfast is also very rich and delicious. If I have the opportunity to come to Morocco next time, I will choose their home again. You might as well give it a try!"

"We went there in 2007 and again now. It's a beautiful place spread over several floors, including a magnificent terrace with breathtaking views of Tetouan. We simply had a pot of tea, coffee, water, and a goat's milk yogurt with honey. The service is excellent, and the welcome is very warm. I highly recommend it."

"Liked: The look and feel of the hotel captures the Moroccan culture and looked great albeit dated and old and very tired. The rooms were nice to an extent and clean in terms of smell and no body hair etc. The location was great. Disliked: Everything! The rooms were in a very poor state of affair. Very few things worked, the advert suggests a lot which are all lies so please take the description as lies and believe very little. There are no toiletries, except a toy bar of hand soap. There are no shower gels, there is no coffee and tea making facilities as stated in the description. the toilet seats are broken in the two rooms I stayed in. I booked a room with a Mountain View but got a room with no view except four walls of the inside. The TV remote does not work, the shower does not provide hot water, the water splashes all over the bathroom floor, the floor of the bedroom is dusty so I would advise taking sandals or slippers. The wall plugs don't all work, the shower head cannot be mounted as the holder is broken, the built in wardrobes smell, Said the day manager is not the best and doesn't take any complaints seriously. The bed wasn't comfortable and none of the surfaces were clean at all. In fact, they were disgusting! I had to ask for bath towels and toilet rolls as there were none after checking in! Oh and it was impossible to sleep due to noise at night and very early morning. "

No offer to help at all, other than to say you have to order from the room service menu. Really noisy air condition on the roof which left a constant droning noise like we were on a ship...."

"Lovely riad with beautiful interior and stunning terrace, in a great location. Nice little breakfast is provided. Rooms could be great but they haven't really been designed and maintained well -- cold lights, occasional lack of comfort, bathrooms super rundown and more reminescent of low budget hostels - so it felt like it should've been a good 25-30% cheaper...value isn't the strongest point here. Team is very friendly but we didn't get to interact much or have any conversations so felt more impersonal in that sense. Probably would've been tricky had we needed tips etc."
