"It was a very last minute booking. Interesting building. The owners were friendly. What was odd was there were no room keys to lock the bedroom door. It was because of fire regulations they said. “The sort of people that stay with us won’t venture into your room while you are out” they said. I am not sure how they vetted the people!! Anyway, no ensuite. That was unpleasant. No evening meals available. The recommended local restaurants were closed. The room was clean and bed was comfy but it was hot and with the window open the road was a bit busy. The smallest steam iron in the world. It’s not for me though. The no door key is a step too far."
