"Checked in at 3 PM, but didn't get our room until 8 PM – this really happened. We had to squeeze into one room that was available at check-in. We booked three rooms in total, but the other two weren't ready until 8 PM. The room had a pretty strong odor. It was fine for sleeping at night, as we were out all day doing good deeds. Since it was a holiday, the hotel was full, so we couldn't change rooms. After two nights, I don't think I'll be coming back."

"This floating accommodation only has 5 rooms. Right next door is the Hua Cha Tea House. We chose to stay in the lowest-category room, room 501 Lin Tian. The room is decorated in a Chinese style, with a complete set of amenities. It has air conditioning and a portable, wireless fan that you can take with you to cool off while relaxing by the water. The bed is soft, the air conditioning is cold, and there's Netflix. Breakfast is a Chinese-style Kaiseki, and they provide a very generous amount."

"The place is huge and very lush with lots of trees. Because it's so natural, we actually found a lizard in our room and had to ask staff to remove it. The hairdryer was also broken, but maintenance fixed it right away. Not all the resort activities listed were available, probably because it wasn't peak season. The food wasn't great, and you could only get what you'd pre-selected, no extras. But I did like the lighted mirror in the bathroom."

"This hotel is really quiet and perfect for relaxation, with only a few rooms. The staff, who are from Myanmar, are lovely and very welcoming. The pork congee in the morning is delicious. It’s a great place to stay before heading up to Pilok, as it’s only about 20-30 kilometers away. The view of the dam is beautiful, the decor is tasteful, and it's very peaceful. A beautiful resort, I liked it a lot."

"Honestly, I loved everything. It's so peaceful and truly the perfect place to relax. If you're staying here, I highly recommend bringing a bath bomb – it's pure bliss! (They also sell them at the hotel). The breakfast was absolutely delicious, definitely recommend booking a room with breakfast included. The restaurant next door is great too, and a 7-Eleven is conveniently close by. The room itself is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need: glasses, a wine opener, an ice bucket, plates, bowls. You can bring your own alcohol, everything is there! Excellent! There's free Netflix, and you can connect to other apps if you have them. The screen is huge! I stayed for 2 days and 1 night and didn't even need to leave the hotel. P.S. My only minor complaint is that the wardrobe is a bit tall and blocks the air conditioner a little."

"The hammock outside is awesome and the room itself is okay too. However the bath is in terrible condition and just because it's floating doesn't need to be an excuse for that. Very dirty. Also the water supply is unstable and tap water is very dirty too. Breakfast is mediocre. The bridge towards the floating hotel is quite dodgy and might be dangerous for people who are not fit or afraid of water."
