"We have just had a wonderful evening at the Port William! We were a party of 11 choosing from the Festive Menu and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our table was beautifully decorated with natural foliage, candles and crackers, the staff were all friendly, helpful and professional and the food was fantastic. It is really unusual for everyone in a party of 11 to be complimentary about every course! Personally speaking, I have never before had venison that was so beautifully cooked and delicious. If you are looking for a venue with great food, service and a warm and welcoming ambience, I would definitely recommend the Port William. We will be back!"

"King Arthur’s Arms is fabulously located next to a huge car park, yet on Fore Street, which is the Main Street running through Tintagel and about 3 minutes walk to the top of the hill leading down to English Heritage’s Tintagel Castle. On arrival we were checked in at the bar by Jess with a very friendly Cornish welcome. The smell of cleanliness emerged us as we walked up to our huge room with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, easy chairs and huge bathroom with double walk in shower, sink, toilet and heated radiator. Huge room for Cornwall and immaculate. We chilled out and wandered along and around Tintagel Castle, then back to the pub for dinner. It’s an extensive menu with huge portions. There was no issue with pub noise and we slept well, waking for an extensive breakfast which commences with a choice of pastries and cereals, then Full English, teas, coffees and juices! We were then able to stay parked for a few hours after check out at 10am to wander around Tintagel. Really cannot recommend King Arthur’s Arms enough and particularly so to single parents with kids-safe, friendly and accommodating and shout out to Jess for super friendly service throughout!"

"Located between the forests, very quiet, excellent cleaning and spacious rooms. Breakfast rich and tasty. The staff very careful, gentle and careful. The only point to do is on the quality of the Wi-Fi network in room 10 where we stayed, Wi-Fi is essential given the lack of connection to the network in the area."
