"We have just had a wonderful evening at the Port William! We were a party of 11 choosing from the Festive Menu and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our table was beautifully decorated with natural foliage, candles and crackers, the staff were all friendly, helpful and professional and the food was fantastic. It is really unusual for everyone in a party of 11 to be complimentary about every course! Personally speaking, I have never before had venison that was so beautifully cooked and delicious. If you are looking for a venue with great food, service and a warm and welcoming ambience, I would definitely recommend the Port William. We will be back!"

"Located between the forests, very quiet, excellent cleaning and spacious rooms. Breakfast rich and tasty. The staff very careful, gentle and careful. The only point to do is on the quality of the Wi-Fi network in room 10 where we stayed, Wi-Fi is essential given the lack of connection to the network in the area."

"I cannot rate The Malthouse and the staff highly enough. I made a last minute booking and the team made us so welcome from the minute I spoke to them on the phone and as soon as we walked through the door, they even offered to help with our bags, such gentlemen. The room was more than perfect, cosy and warm, beautifully decorated and a stunning shower room. I honestly cannot fault a thing. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and water were waiting in our room, and topped up daily. A large TV on the wall if we needed to watch anything with a great signal and free WiFi available too. The staff couldn't be more helpful, always asking if there was anything they could get for us or help with. Breakfast was included in the room price and we tried a few options over our stay, for research of course. Tasty, excellent presentation, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Top marks with added marks if that's possible for a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to come back. Apologies to all other wonderful places that we could go to, but we are only going to be coming back here from now on. Thankyou to everyone at The Malthouse and see you soon x"
