"Don Luis is wonderful and so welcoming—the breakfast was good, the place is as described, and he was very helpful with directions etc. We did get some mosquito bites, which is to be expected when in the jungle, but they weren’t too bad and there are mosquito nets over the beds. Would return!"

"The hotel was average. Reception staff were hard to find at check in. Bar was cash only. Hot water must have been miles away, felt guilty for wasting water for 10 minutes until water became luke warm. Breakfast to start at 7 so we could get to chichen itza early but staff was just starting to setting up breakfast at 7. Needs some better management."

"This is the second hotel from the chain we stayed at and after the disappointment from the first one, we were very pleasantly surprised by the great service all the staff provided. We came by train and called in the morning to arrange pick up, the train ended up late but the guy from the hotel waited for us and it was super nice! Everyone at the hotel spoke good English and was kind to us. The food at the restaurant was always very good. We had a quiet stay as it was a bit at the end of the season but the staff was polite anywasys. The rooms were very fresh and comfortable, we had some good night sleep and enjoyed our stay here!"

"We were scheduled to stay at another hotel (through Trip.com) which ended up being closed down. Rather than simply refund our money, Trip.com was VERY helpful and offered to secure another place for us, at their own expense. SO, we ended up at Hacienda Chichen. I have no words for it. The most serene, other-worldly, back to nature, classy, historic place I think I have ever visited. Exquisite is the best word for it. The grounds, the rooms, the pool, the food; it was truly a SANCTUARY. If you want a place to completely restore your soul and sense, choose Hacienda Chichen. Nothing else compares."

"The hotel is very pleasant, you can rent a bike to go to the Ik Kil dinner, or walk to one of the old entries to the ruins, which is no longer available, very friendly staff, the rooms are curiosous, Because the beds are so stitched as in caves, it seemed to us something different but in a good sense. The only thing I didn't like was that the AC gives straight to one of the beds so I had to engineer them so that even with the AC caught I didn't give me straight air, and the coats are hard. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable."

"We stayed at this magnificently beautiful yet very cozy place with my wife and 4 kids at New Years Eve. The environment is amazing. Huge trees, fantastic landscaping, big spacious rooms and very high level service. We were so happy to celebrate the New 2022 Year in this inspiring place. It's proximity to the famous Chicken Itza monument makes the Lodge truly special. Very helpful staff arranged a whole set of experiences for us, including guided tour to the Mayan archeological sites, cenotes, even Mayan cooking class! Overall 5 star and definitely worth visiting again."
