"Our stay at Hakuraku Onsen Taishikan was really comfortable. They kindly provide light snacks for midnight treats, and the whole place is relaxing and spotlessly clean. There are many bugs around the surrounding area, but best of all, there were no bugs inside my room! Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious with special ingredients. The breakfast tofu was especially tasty. We will definitely come back again!"

"1. The hostess was very smiling. 2. The location is a 15-minute walk from Tochigi Station, which is quite tiring for independent travelers, especially with the gravel pavement. 2. The room has an air conditioner, but you have to go outside to use the shared toilet and shower, which is freezing cold in winter, especially at night. 3. The facilities are poor. The Japanese-style room only has a small A4-sized table with no chairs or cushions. 4. The public facilities are messy and I don't want to use them at all."
