"OUTSTANDING customer service!!! I ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend this hotel!!! My friends and I were walking on the Camino and when we arrived at Hosteria La Casona I confirmed that I lost my passport. The staff member at the Hosteria (tall gentleman with dark hair) was EXTREMELY helpful, and DIRECTLY responsible for my passport retrieval in a previous town we walked through. He called many different offices and locations to search for the passport. Had it not been for him I would have been required to travel to Madrid for a reissuance. I don't recall his name, but I cannot thank him enough. Thanks to the staff member and Hosteria La Casona for their awesome customer service for going above and beyond!!!!"

"Rooms were clean, big and spacious, staff was extremely friendly and the spa was one of the best part. Town is only 15min to santander and the beach and but there is many restaurants and things to do around the area. We’ll definitely come back again ."

"In this hotel the rooms are outdated, old and over priced. We had an attic room that was dark, with no tea/coffee making facilities. The staff were efficient but not friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice. On check out we were charged extra for parking. Somo is beautiful but stay somewhere else unless you want to be over charged."

"The appartment has a stunning view of the fields. It's very quiet and clean. The large king size bed is super comfortable. ensuite jacuzzi is wonderful. However it's completely isolated from the main hotel so we need to go outdoor for breakfast, restaurant and check out. It's a bit of huzzle because it rained heavily when we checked out. It's hard to manage all luggage, bin bag and umbrella at the same time. Although the appartment room rate is much higher than Hotel Spa Villa, we had less service and amenities. For example, housekeeping was not included so we need to throw our bin bag to the collection point outdoor by ourselves. Hence the Thermal pools are much smaller than Spa villa and was more crowed than a public pool especially during weekend when there were many families and kids. All kids liked to use the adult pools rather than their kid's pool! Not value for money. We requested pack breakfast at 7am on the check out day because we had early flight. One of the staff refused and said they had to follow the restaurant time table which are 8-11am. We asked another lady, Rachel, the next day and she was very kind and helpful, she communicated with the cafe and arranged pack breakfast with egg, coffee, water and fruits for us at 7am. Rachel is wonderful and the hotel need more staff like her who offered the best customer service."

"It is a restaurant located in a renovated old palace. A very charming place, carefully decorated in detail, maintaining the essence of the palace with a modern touch, it has a terrace and a room for events. Good food and friendly staff. Highly recommended."

"Hotel is a short walk from the beach. NIce room although a little small and the balcony was so small as to be unusable. Free street parking outside & nearby if its out of season. In Season (June to Sept) charges are levied. Hotel has a secure underground carpark for an extra charge. Dogs accepted also for an extra charge. The restaurant was the best thing about the place, food and service were excellent and dogs are allowed in. HOtel is noisy, there is little or no soundproofing between the rooms and our room was above the restaurant which didnt help."
