"Splendid view, 10 stars. Reception staff very courteous and professional. The swimming pool and wellness area are very nice. Awkward position, but we imagined this and were aware of it. The big, huge flaw is the restaurant, certainly not up to the standard of a 4 star. Mediocre cuisine, no air conditioning (in August with the sun beating down on the windows it was unliveable), but above all the dining room staff was totally incompetent and rude. We traveled with a 10 month old baby and we had a lot of difficulties with her food (common baby food), even though we had brought practically everything from home. We have stayed in other hotels of the same group and of the same category, unfortunately in this case it was a completely different experience. We definitely won't be back."

"Personally, I loved the location and the view. i had a nice stay, enjoyed both pools and would have enjoyed them even more if the weather was on my side. Getting there, however was a nightmare. If you’re traveling solo and not renting a car, the buses have proven highly unreliable. The place is charming and other than a funny smell in the room, everything was alright. The staff was the best part of the stay at Stella D’Oro! They were so warm and helpful with everything, that there’s no fault to find there. It was a great experience if you want a nice and relaxing stay with gorgeous views and mountain top pools. Can warmly recommend"

"We booked through ***********, the room looked great, a fantastic hotel! When we arrived, we were given a room a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The room itself was okay, but directly below it was the outdoor seating area of ​​a pizzeria, making it impossible to open the window or sit comfortably on the balcony. It wasn't mentioned that the room was located below a pizzeria. We found another hotel, and they initially told us we wouldn't have to pay a cancellation fee. However, they then contacted *********** and said we hadn't arrived and were being charged for all four days. In short, the hotel's ambiance was great, but the management was untrustworthy! The staff, however, were very polite!"

"This is a fantastic family run hotel. The view from our hotel room balcony was superb. We had a superior room so also enjoyed a sun lounge. The staff were very attentive. As it's popular with German guests many staff spoke German, but a number also knew English. The breakfast buffet is very good with cereals, fruit, meat, cheese and pastries. You can order freshly cooked eggs. We chose the half board option and the evening meals were delicious. There's a salad bar, then primi and secondo dishes such as fish or meat. The pasta dishes were varied and very tasty. A choice of about 8 desserts. Drinks were very reasonably priced. This was our second visit and we hope it won't be our last."

"With an amazing view, the property is located between mountains, approximately 18 min drive from Limone S/G. Quiet days and nights. a lot of options for day activities such as hiking, biking, tennis courts, Pool, kids playground etc. a location where i would come again. btw, the food is also amazing :) "

"From:🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Couple in mid to late 20s We stayed at Hotel Pineta Campi during the first week of October 2023. This hotel and apartments deserves its 4 star rating. We stayed in an apartment with a Mountain View and balcony. Here’s the honest pros and cons… Pros: ✅ The view is wonderful ✅ The apartment is modern and very clean ✅ The pools and sauna were nice, can’t comment on the jacuzzi as we only tried it once and the bubbles weren’t on (not sure why) ✅ Situated close to Limone Sul Garda - a must visit location 🍋 ✅ We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked like the outside area had a lovely view ✅ Peaceful setting, a few walkable restaurants near by ✅ Good value for money Cons: ❎ The welcome wasn’t the friendliest, it was pretty average ❎ The apartment was a bit cold, but we personally didn’t want to pay extra for heating ❎ We had to spend a lot of time finding English channels on the TV - ended up mainly watching BBC World News just before bed ❎ No oven - I wish we new this as we done a shop on the way and bought some oven foods ❎ There’s dog(s) near by and we heard a fair bit of barking during our stay, luckily not through the night though ❎ Shower takes a long time to get hot ❎ Be prepared to be bitten by mosquitoes - obviously this isn’t the hotels fault, but it’s just a warning, so that you bring some bug spray. There’s also a lot of wasps that come to visit your balcony if you eat outside! ❎ Apartment block is quite far away from the hotel, you have to walk down a steep hill to get there so it’s missing the buzz and vibe of being around people ❎ Pay to play pool and there’s no triangle ❎ Paying extra for bedding and towels About the drive: As many reviews have already mentioned the roads are windy and they’re not kidding! We have rented cars in lots of locations and it was a bit tedious having to go up and down these little windy roads every time you want to go out! The journey to the bottom of the hill takes about 15 mins if you’re driving sensibly, which some people do and some don’t, (again, not the hotels fault). In our opinion, it’s well worth it for the view, but it all depends how much you like driving! "

"It was super nice, but the dung heap was very annoying... The bed wasn't without flaws either, old weak but the mattress was good... Would do it again, but in a different apartment..."
