"This hotel was lovely! The staff especially were what made this location memorable - especially Avi and Alejandro. They were very knowledgeable and helped us sort out the changeable bus timetable. Avi helped us with local’s knowledge to figure out what kind of activities we wanted to do within budget. The rooms are lovely, and the veranda and garden areas are great places to relax. The kitchen is also big and well stocked. Overall, we had a great stay and were sorry it was just for one night!"

"Nice hotel outside the city (would not want to stay in city). We stayed for one night before rafting the Pacuare. Rooms are ok, no air conditioning. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel. Food is fantastic, served in an open air pavilion. They were accommodating with one member of our party that is gluten free. They have a nice pool and hot tub but we didn’t use it as it was raining the day we stayed. Staff is friendly and plenty of on site parking."

"The Arte de Plumas Birding Lode is located in the mountains above Turrialba. The accommodation is very beautiful, however, there are unfortunately a few shortcomings. The lack of mosquito networks at the windows have disturbed us. But the rooms are large, bright and beautiful. Patricia and Sebastian have culinaryly deprived us very much. They are so hearty people. We felt very well. We were here because of the Colibris. And we were not disappointed. They really fly through the house. Also otherwise it has many birds and the name is program. Unfortunately weather was very bad with us, but we still liked it."

"It is too close to the street, traffic noice prevented me from falling asleep. It is old so very few electrical outlets in the room, nowhere to plug our laptops. Their restaurant is really bad. My beef was over-salted and fish was like rubber."

"I stayed here for three nights in March of 2024 and couldn't have been happier. The food and service were top shelf, the gardens were lush and full of tropical flowers and unique birds. The panoramic views were incredible, and it was nestled at the foot of an active volcano. It's close to the town of Turrialba and other interesting sites."
