Park Drive Inn ★★
"The front desk clerk was very accommodating for my late arrival (11:45 p.m.) and left a key hidden on condition that I call him upon arrival to complete the check-in process (payment, mostly). Trip Advisor is a little out of date, as there is no breakfast included. There is a 3% added for a credit card payment. The room is clean, but dated. The sheets are getting rough as are the towels. I never turned on the TV, so I cannot comment on that. Shower was fine, hairdryer available. Coffee in room. You enter your room straight off the parking lot, so be aware. Caro is not a dangerous place, but some solo travelers prefer to have a lobby."

Executive Inn ★★
"Review of EXECUTIVE INN Cass City, Michigan A reservation was made for a five-day stay at this inn through a reservation company. In doing so, a Handicap Accessible room was requested and the agent for the reservation company assured me one was available for the time period needed. Upon arrival at the Inn, one of the things that struck me was how “bleak” the aspect of the building was. No grass, no landscaping, no port-cochere entrance for inclement weather. While there was a handicap parking-place (of-sorts), the paint on the parking place was extremely worn and barely there. Also, there was no upright sign at the head of the parking place that is supposed to be there to clearly indicate a Handicap Space. Additionally, there was a step-up curb to the level of the inn’s entrance and the curb had no “cut” to allow for a wheelchair access up to the entrance level. The entrance door to the inn was sufficient for a wheelchair and the lobby, while small & spartan, was adequate. The gentlemen behind the desk greeted us with a pleasant demeanor. He went through the registration and showed us to the room. First thing I noticed was the room’s door “knob.” It was a knob and not a lever as handicap access should be. The door size was ample to get a wheelchair into the room and the room was good size and spacious enough for a wheelchair to maneuver. It had a Queen Bed, however, unlike the Kings in previous hotels where we stayed had. (Side note: For those of you who like a “firm” mattress, this one is extra, extra, extra firm!) The bathroom, while again, large enough for a wheelchair to maneuver, there were some definite problems. Again, there was a standard door “knob” and not a lever, also there was a tile “threshold” at the door entrance creating a distinct “bump” as the wheelchair entered. The sink did accommodate the wheelchair, although, the faucet was a “pull-push” variety that even a normal person would find awkward to use and impossible for a handicap. I discovered later that the shower faucet was of the same, difficult “pull-push” type. And speaking of shower, it was not walk-in, but in a tub, hardly “handicap accessible.” The toilet did have the required “grab bars,” but was of a normal height, which was ok, but a “raised” toilet would have been much better and much easier for a handicap person to use. The one thing about the room and bathroom that I have to commend is the “cleanliness.” And in our time at this inn, I noticed just how clean the overall facility was. It was probably one of the place’s best features. I have to commend, in the highest possible terms, the person who does the cleaning; they really do an absolutely spectacular job. Also, the overall room was neat, tidy and well organized, for such an old place. Indeed, the nostalgia aspect of this inn, is one of its unique features, reminding me of places I have stayed during the 1950s & 60s. The room was equipped (as one would expect) with a refriger"
