Basically, the issues you read about on other reviews are legitimate, but the staff is very friendly and will do their best to take care of you and respond to any concerns. My first room had a smoke smell, but they moved me to another room which was much better, and also had a bath which I was hoping for with my first room. To be honest, depending on the time of day, the smoke smell can be found in various parts of the hotel. I also had an issue where a glass door on the bathroom was touching the floor and unable to be opened. They fixed this within a few hours. The location is more convenient to travel by bus and then transfer to a subway. It is somewhat outside of Seoul so just be prepared for that. Otherwise, there is good shopping and food nearby without walking very far. I think the fact that a hotel has problems is not bad if they take positive steps to fix it, and they did a good job of that during my trip. Based on that I would consider staying again."
