"I noticed that many reviews mention the hotel not living up to a five-star standard. However, no one seems to complain that the price doesn’t match a five-star level either. In my opinion, this is an excellent hotel for the price. The property is spacious, the rooms are fresh and cleaned daily, and amenities like slippers and bathrobes are provided. The staff is welcoming, and the breakfast offers a great variety. From 4 to 5 PM, there’s a complimentary tea and pastries service, which is a lovely touch. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of loungers equipped with soft cushions. This is definitely a place I would consider returning to."

"Wow. What a place. Disappointed to read the previous negative review. This place is great. Uber friendly. Tranquil setting. Great food (best chicken wrap I’ve ever had!) Personalised experience - staff bent over backwards to help. Rooms spotless, mosquito safe and brand spanking new. Plans to further develope (without extra rooms) - volley ball court - bigger pool - though current deep plunge pool is Devine! Will definitely choose this place when I return to Diani! My husband and I are picky, stay in 5* hotels and did not expect a 5* accommodation for 3* prices. Well done Tombolo House!!"
