"You will sweat for hours long before they have your room ready at 6 at night. I wouldn’t have paid half of what they charged me for a single night after having been there."

"Yeah no. Overpriced for what it is- a nicely designed airbnb with no basic services. Thin wall rooms. Awkward if you stay in the group cottage because you’re essentially stuck in a house with strangers. The restaurant itself was worth it though. The in house gift shop is nice"
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Saugerties, NY
"I don’t normally write reviews, but this hotel needs some major improvements. I was there for a one night stay because I was attending a wedding nearby, and for the price, I immediately regretted it. We booked the room, to have a place to sleep at the end of the night, but after seeing a bug that resembled a bed bug crawling on my pillow, I did not get any sleep. I stayed up all night itching and feeling like I had bugs crawling on me. I thought it was paranoia. But, upon returning home, I had bites that started to itch and swell up on my forehead, legs and back. The room was not clean, and could use updating. There were obvious signs of mildew and water damage in the bathroom, stains on the walls, sheets and decorative bedding. If you appreciate a clean space, this is not it. Check-in and check- out was easy, and the staff was friendly enough for the limited interactions we had, but I would not consider staying at a Howard Johnson again."

Woodstock Way Hotel
Hotel Kinsley
New Paltz Way Hotel
"We had a fantastic stay last weekend at the New Paltz Way. We hadn't spent much time in New Paltz, but the town is great with a number of good restaurants and shops a very short walk from the hotel. When you walk into the hotel, the vibe just pulls you in. You can sit in the lounge area looking out the big windows on the walking path for hours and read, enjoy coffee, and feel relaxed. The staff was friendly and eager to help, and I don't think we walked past them once without being offered a coffee made to serve or a chocolate chip cookie. The room we stayed in was beautiful, high ceilings, a beautiful bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the walking path and river through the woods. You feel like you're in the woods, but right next to the downtown. And each room has it's own record player with classic albums, we had the Blues Brothers, Bengals, and Workingman's Dead (my favorite). We also got a sneak peak at the spa, which will be opening shortly, and it looks like a self-guided experience with a sauna and cold plunge as well as a hot tub. This was one of their first weekends, and we experienced only efficient, helpful, and seamless service the entire time. We will definitely go back!"
Quaint Woodstock Escape - 2 Mi to Tinker St!
Minnewaska Lodge
AutoCamp Catskills
"Loved my stay here at autocamp. The staff was super attentive and friendly. Not a single complaint, Stephanie is super awesome and it was a perfect holiday getaway"
Elmrock Inn
"Beautiful grounds well maintained. First floor was lovely and we would have loved to eat breakfast there. Water tastes ok but smells awful. Window A/C units are inconsistent with the cost. Bed was lumpy. We wish that the breakfast arrangements were more flexible. A single 9:00 am seating is very limited."
