"A very, very nice, family-run wellness hotel in the middle of nowhere, yet quickly and easily accessible via the A6. The rooms are excellent. The spa area could be cleaned and restocked more frequently. But don't get me wrong, everything is clean, just a shade from perfect. I imagine that with the opening of the spa extension in early summer 2025, the whole thing will be even more beautiful. The treatments were good; postponements due to illness are possible, but could be communicated before arrival. The highlight is definitely the Michelin-starred restaurant: Chapeau! Overall, a perfect hideaway for 24 hours or longer."

"Unfortunately, we were very disappointed by the stay. We had a room directly under the roof without air conditioning directly under the big church clock that let us tremble in bed every morning at 6.30. The rooms are very modern, very quiet and not beautifully furnished. The “Cantine” was not comfortable, breakfast was also disappointing, especially the thin coffee, which is unpleasantly filled with thermoscanners on the tables! The friendliness of the staff leaves to be desired...not even “a good morning” without any kindness...we had expected more! Very anonymous and unbinding...in price/performance ratio absolutely overpriced, we spent three days before in a really super hotel at the Ammersee almost for the same price (+25,-€)...Unfortunately we cannot recommend St. Joseph and be seek us another possibility of staying in the future! Damn!"
