"When booking this hotel, I didn't say the different room types clearly. It was in a different building. There is a room type that is across the road. It is the kind of old house. There is no elevator. I have to carry my luggage to the 3rd floor. The experience is very poor."

"Positive, negative and surprising. Check in was expected, reception nice. Explanation of the resort facility was also in order. Rooms in the main building were clean, unfortunately the ventilation in the toilet/ bathroom did not work, as well as the steel lamp had not lighted in the evening, so the room was a little dark. In Bistro, it was not the house-made ice cream on the afternoon for two different days. Because we forgot the baths, we got them available free of charge. The food here is really the hamster, tasty a dream. dinner and breakfast. Even at breakfast order the food from the breakfast card should not be missed. Also the breakfast buffet does not leave any wishes open. Due to a birthday during the 4 days, the table was specially covered and a gift of the house was left at the room by the hotel operator, which was really very nice. The massages were perfect. The whole wellness area and equipment is perfect. The various activities are also well organized."

"great accommodation, I'm delighted. the bed is very comfortable, the room is quiet. very helpful receptionist. and very helpful, I needed to get to the next village, so she checked the local buses. a little disappointed with the restaurant. breakfast was ok but dinner was not. I ordered fried mushrooms with tofu and leeks. the portion looked like it was swimming in oil. the only good dish was the arugula salad. there was a little more basil cream than it should have been, but it was edible. for 17 euros, I imagined a better meal. luckily, when the hostess saw my disgusted expression and when I told her that I didn't like the food, I didn't have to pay. clapping for the mistress! this is how you should treat guests. the next day I tasted the champignon soup and I already liked it."

"Yet another wonderful couple of days spent as guests of the Hotel Hirschen. My wife and I love this hotel and stay every year on our way to Bavaria driving from the U.K. It is a perfect stop-over for us. The " posh " rooms are superb. Comfortable, quiet with great beds and a superb power shower. And then , each evening, a quick stroll over the road to the hotel restaurant that serves delicious dinners. Clever, innovative cooking. All beatifully served and on this occassion, I tried my very first " Bavarian Single Malt Whisky " ! As I think I have said before on previous reviews, the Hotel Hirschen is family owned and run and it clearly shows with how they value their guests. Oh and as a final plus , I am a car nut and need somwhere to park which is safe and secure for my beloved boy and the hotel has a large car park. Highly recommended !"

"If you drive here, it's a long way from the bus. And the flights are sparse. Located in the commercial district, it is very quiet at night. Want to buy something. Recently, I have to drive 3 minutes to the gas station. The room has no air conditioning, only a fan, which is not cool enough I want to open the window, but there are lots of tiny insects and spider webs outside the window."

"The hotel was more convenient. No decoration, not even a picture on the wall, the rooms are a little too simple and the furniture also looks everything other than high quality. A steel lamp did not work, we had also problems with the ventilation system in the bathroom. Breakfast was also a little simple, coffee machine did not at first, so there was only filter coffee. Later this problem was fixed. The staff was helpful, but sometimes a little unfriendly. The proximity to the Sibyllen bath was positive and the cleanness of the hotel."
