"Beautiful hotel, spacious room and comfortable bedding. Negative points: very noisy, very fresh and not very generous breakfast, cold coffee, not at all at room temperature. The restaurant is very noisy and the service is extremely slow, however the portions are extremely generous (too much even)."

"A decent hotel in the center of Ushuaia, close to numerous cafes, the La Anónima supermarket, and the waterfront. We had a room with a view of the Beagle Channel. Instead of air conditioning or radiators, they use underfloor heating. Free Wi-Fi works well. The reception staff is polite, and the reception area is large and comfortable. If needed, you can store your luggage before your flight for 5,000-7,000 ARS."

"Stayed here for four nights. The house itself has a lot of atmosphere, especially the upstairs breakfast room, which feels like a Victorian Age parlor. Staff was friendly enough, though I didn’t really see them again after check in. The room itself was less impressive. It was fairly small with three uncomfortable single beds and not much in the way of decor except for a couple of nautical themed pictures. The shower head in the bathroom was attached to the ceiling, which was pretty high up, making it difficult to adjust. I’m 5’ 10”, so I can’t imagine how someone shorter could deal with it. Otherwise, the room was clean, so the housekeeping staff does a good job. The house is located about a ten minute walk uphill from the main part of town. Walking downhill to town isn’t an issue, but walking back uphill could be if you have any mobility or respiratory problems. On the plus side, Uber is available in Ushuaia and the ride to or from town is very cheap. I wanted to like this place more. It’s okay for a short stay, but I think you would be better off staying somewhere in the main part of town."
