"The only downside was that the restaurant was closed for the weekend when we were there. And since we had a baby we were planning to eat there.. otherwise everything was in perfect location, staff, room, cleanliness, recently renovated rooms. Will stay there again for sure."

"We chose this hotel as we were visiting friends in Grasse and we prefer modern, contemporary rooms. The location is not quite walking distance from valbonne as the road is busy however if you have a car this won’t be a problem. Lovely clean hotel, very friendly staff who help in any way. Our room had been upgraded so we had a nice apartment which was very spacious and we did use the fridge and dining table as we visited a local supermarket for a selection of breakfast foods to avoid paying the €15 a day on breakfast (as this was just breads, pastries, juice etc). Beds were very comfortable, rooms were super quiet which we valued. Lovely view of the pool which was never busy despite it being peak summer time. Drinks were around €7 per glass of wine but you could have brought your own to the hotel (but we decided to make the most of theirs). Small hotel with 21 rooms in total, pool towels given and always kept clean and tidy. We would definitely use this hotel again but next time with a hire car as getting taxis in peak summer is too expensive."

"Love this hotel. No, it’s not the Ritz but the location is wonderful, the staff are too. Our room 1611 was a fabulous corner room overlooking the busy, buzzy square. Valbonne is very beautiful, laid back and cute. We didn’t include breakfast and perhaps we should have. A bar and upstairs terrace would have added to our experience"

"We loved La Bastide due to its perfect location, cozy rooms (located on the first floor with poolside access), friendly and professional staff, and charming, tranquil atmosphere. Very good buffet breakfast, and the Italian restaurant next to Bastide is delicious. Highly recommend."

"Very nice boutique hotel just off the main square in a quiet location. Rooms are nice, and our hot was very hospitable and provided a very nice continental breakfast in the morning. Very relaxed and easy check-out process. We just had to drop off our keys when done. Would highly recommend."

"As good as always, I'll book again next time. Try to avoid staying in a room on the first floor, it's a bit noisy. There aren't many amenities outside, but there's a small forest that's quite pleasant; you can take a walk there if the weather is nice."
